the weather here? Wet. From October to April. Wet. Blinding flashes of some unknown orb rising in the sky in the east, thankfully obscured by the soft, mother-like clouds, then setting in the west, where it can no longer harm us...

OTG - plug your ears. Well, the snow is still falling, but it's cold and not big flakes any more so it takes awhile to pile up. It's -6 right now (21F). Then some really cold air from the north is supposed to descend upon us tomorrow with lows of -22 (-8F) and highs is -13 (8F) most of next week.
Nevertheless, I am going to dig out my cross country skis which I have not used in about 10 years and ski out my door today. When I bought this house two years ago, I was excited to be out of the valley bottom again and looked forward to getting much more snow. Unfortunately we had almost no snow last winter so I am looking forward to it even more now.
Crazy - I have never heard of any of those films. Well, I think maybe Muriel's Wedding sounds familiar.
Trek - don't I quite have the talent required to write my name in the snow. Maybe my little guy could do it but I'm hesitant to suggest it. :)
