Up a pound to 137. Trying not to get frustrated.
144.4 - blehhhhh
I'm afraid for my next weigh-in. I'm doing nothing but snacking and not working out. Unless one can consider walking through this a workout, which I think I can. :)
I haven't been posting the last few weeks because I couldn't find my scale  I moved and finally found the box where it was hidden! Considering I've been interviewing all over the country and moving into a temporary living space, I think I've done pretty well. I haven't lost much, but haven't gained either. I weighed in at 238.5 today. Only a half pound, but considering what's been going on, I will take it!
153.5
154!
187.4
Slowing down, but still in the right direction!
116.8
I knew last week was just a bump in the road, but frustrating, nevertheless.
Much happier today. 33.2 pounds since Jan1, 2009.... 6.8 to go.
I hit 129.5 today and also woke up with a nice thick head cold. My human petri dishes finally got to me. (One's 7 months old and the other four years old. )
169.4 I've had a much better week. Losing weight is such a mind game and I kept thinking "another year dieting" and then I would eat everything in sight. When I changed my thinking to just eat healthy this week, this day, this meal it really helped.
surprisingly, with the blizzard(s) and all, I've not gained any weight. Haven't lost any, and feeling totally crappy from doing no exercise other than shoveling, but no weight gained!

Possegirl, I think you may have forgotten to post for me this week.
238.5
Finally found the scale after moving... At least i didn't gain!
wasn't sure if you wanted to use that weight or if you were going to weigh again today. sorry about that. will add it in now.
228.6
That's just shy of five pounds since last week, I think. Changes I've made:
1. Stopped eating out for lunch every day, although I went to Panera yesterday and had a 200 calorie You Pick Two soup and salad combo (plus a 160-calorie sourdough baguette) - I think the high sodium in the soup is why I'm a pound up from yesterday, but I'll take it.
2. I've added a 30-minute cardio session on the bike or in the pool every day, no exceptions, in addition to the Core Performance weights/pliometrics.
3. The sauna at the Y is my new best friend. Yeah, I'm just sweating it out, but it's also making me drink more water, so again, I'll take it.

No problem! Glad to do it!
You've given me the idea that perhaps I should lose my scale for a while though. :) ha ha
Limewave- Way to go on meeting your challenge goal!
The torture continues...152.8
It seems like I always reach a plateau around the "0" numbers - 170 and 160 were both very difficult to get under - and I won't say how many decades long it's been since I have been under 162 so I really should not be complaining :o
Way to go Channelluv!
Nicely done Limewave and still 2 weeks to go.
I am glad that I just re-weighed myself - I am back to 150.... perhaps I should weigh less often :o
Catrin - do you want me to change this weeks weight to 150? Just let me know.

If you get a chance to do so, sure - but don't take any trouble over it. I am sure you spend more time keeping up with all this than we know.
Please put me down for 148 this week.
Thanks,
Lynette
Yay! I'm in the pink!
Weighed in at 214.6 this week. Finally making progress!
late again, 143.8. I think I'm headed in the right direction now
A few hours early, but I will take it :)
149.8...
The inches keep dropping, no matter how painfully slow the actual pounds are dropping. It must be from building muscle - but doesn't lean muscle burn more calories? I get confused about all of this, but I am not complaining!
186.4
:)
115.6
Does that put me in the pinK? My goal was 115 for this challenge.
Since Jan 2009: 34.4 down, 5.6 pounds to go to my final goal!!!

YEP! I change the color if you get within less than a pound of your goal. Not that I've ever seen that color change in my own line mind you. :)
Congrats to you and limewave!
226.8 - whoop!
236! Down 2.5 lbs from last week. I'm eating many small meals throughout the day and it seems to be working for me. Yay!
150.5 lbs ... slow progress ... but at least the right direction :)
thanks for the charts.
I've started doing this, too! 200-calorie snacks/meals, mostly, and it's really keeping my blood sugar even.
I'm down just shy of 20 pounds since September, and I think a good bit more than that since I joined the forum here.
Possegal, do you have the old-old-old sheets showing where we were a year or more ago?
Roxy
Yep, I've not deleted any of them. Want one year ago?
Hope this link works

Thanks. This forum has really been hugely inspirational. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your keeping the records, Possegal.
It's funny - I'm losing gradually, so the people I see all the time haven't really noticed, but every now and then I'll run into a friend whom I haven't seen in several months and they're blown away by the change. Of course, it's all relative. I'm still waaaaaaay overweight, but you know what my big realization was recently? I'm no longer 100 pounds overweight.
I don't know what my ideal weight actually is, but I know 125 is too low for me. I'm thinking 140, and if the 2 lbs per week keeps going, I could actually reach that this year. That's amazing to me, and attainable, thanks to this community. Thank you all for that.
I'm going to need a new picture soon. My current avatar is looking less and less like me every week. <g>

Roxy, I find your posts motivational. I didn't have as much to lose as you, so I can imagine it is a tough climb to stay with it. But you always sound so cheerful and positive, and when I see your avatar pic, you look so joyful and I feel inspired by what you have accomplished. Make sure your new pic captures that same spirit.
