182.0 :(
Down 2 pounds - 147! :D
I ordered some stuff from Eddie Bauer last week and got it yesterday. It doesn't fit. Size 8s are too big. Women's sizing drives me crazy. I am not a freakin' size 6. But I'm going to reorder in a 6, because the the proportions seemed like they would be right.
Monday is measurement day with my trainer. It's her calipers that I really care about. I'm hoping that not only have I lost some fat, but that I've also gained more muscle.

Back up to 142 - very bad eating week - will try (again!) to do better next week
252.8
Down again a little bit! I am amazed....I guess last week I really didn't eat enough and thats why I gained because this week I ate more and lost....
I will never get this!!! lol
Down three pounds so far this challenge.

In 2007 with all my triathlons, duathlons and 50+ mile rides I allllmost made it down to a six. Then I crashed on my mountain bike, got the flu and fell off the bandwagon. I could squeeze into them. Still! Perhaps one day I'll make it there. Maybe this summer!
146.5 :) :) :)
I guess trekking through the Peruvian Andes for 9 days really agreed with my weight loss plan. Now, that I'm back home I know it's going to be more difficult to keep up that kind of activity level.
I'm trying though--worked out hard on Wed at the gym, short bike ride yesterday, gym today, and I'm attempting 70 miles tomorrow on the bike. We'll see! That will be my longest ride since I started biking again a year ago.
128.5
205.6
Goal (by end of June): 200
But it was worth it.
165 lbs, going in the right direction. Eating is good but need to be more disciplined with exercise.
Limewave: Excellent Job!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dress zipped!!!!!!! Snug, but zipped!
Up a smidge: 132.2
(and that's despite getting a major haircut-- nearly a foot off!! Oh well...)
Stayed the same...131. Training well for the metric tomorrow! Second one of the season. :)
242, but considering I've been treating various visiting family for dinner out just about every day, I think that's pretty good.
I've been introduced to the indoor trainer by D*H and can do 10 miles in about an hour and fifteen minutes. I've decided I really prefer the lake route, where I can coast and still earn miles, but this sure beats not getting any exercise at all because I couldn't carve out a three-hour block of time to get to the lake, get changed, ride for two hours, and drive home.
Hi, little Bear! Welcome to the world! (Worth it, indeed, Mama limewave. Congratulations.)

I guess I forgot to weigh in last week. Freudian slip, most likely.
I'm at 138 this morning and have decided to not weigh in again until the end of the challenge. I get too frustrated by the lack of movement in the right direction when it seems I'm doing what I should be to lose. Will revisit my food intake and choices yet again.
Judging by the way my watch and ring magically grow larger and smaller, I retain lots of water with no apparent pattern to the retention. I'm sure my little fluctuations in weigh are simply water weight gain/loss.
:(:mad::(
Added in lots of updates!

Back up to 142:( I have not been making wise choices this week - too much emotional eating. Little Bear might be the cutest baby I have ever seen! I love my three children to death, but they took a little longer to become that irresistible.
No change here. Considering I spent 4 days with my folks this week celebrating my dad's birthday, and I ate and drank way too much rich food and sweets and didn't exercise at all while I was there, I'm happy I didn't gain.
185.2 I ate everything in sight this week. I couldn't stop myself. Last night I ate a huge steak, drank really good wine and split two desserts with my friend and she didn't eat her fair share. So now I am back from my vacation away from dieting and will be dieting again this week.
Now that it has stopped raining I can finally get out and ride. still at 151 but feeling great now that I have ridden 4 days in a row without rain!!:D
Raining here now so my chance at squeezing in a ride is slim. I have to go post 'yard sale' signs all over the place near my friends house. Three of us do a yard sale each year and then the money we raise goes to charity. Last year and this one, it will all go to my ride in August, which is good because my teammates will collect things for us to sell then we donate in each of their names. Win win for everyone. I was hoping I could ride before the signage, but not with this rain! Hopefully tomorrow after transporting all the things I've collected down to the location of the sale. Life keeps getting in my way of riding! :)

I'm not weighing until tomorrow, but I had to post today anyway. I'm pretty sure I'll see a gain, but it's for a good reason. I am FINALLY getting back into a real exercise routine. I'm achy and sore, so I feel good. BUT, this means that it'll be a couple of weeks before the scale starts to move again. In fact, it'll probably go up. Today, my jeans were extra tight even though I have been riding and eating well this week. That's just the way my body works.
I've been sloth-like for so long that getting back on the exercise bandwagon is going to cost me in the short term. That's ok as long as I'm mentally prepared (and it's why I'm posting now). I know that in about 4 to 5 weeks, I'll start reaping the rewards in terms of scale weight and clothing fit. In the meantime, I get to feel better both physically and mentally while I frantically search for stretchy things to wear to get me over this 'hump'!
136.2 again...
My century bike ride is in two week. I am finding it too hard to be in "Calorie Deficit Mode" while training for this event.
Therefore, for the next two weeks, I am planning to maintain my weight, not lose weight. So, 136.2 is good! :)
After the century ride, I will get back to being serious about losing these last few pounds.
Lynette
141. No change.
Limewave, congratulations on your beautiful baby boy!!!
Yep, I'm up a bit, but not as much as I'd thought, which is cool.
172.4 for me this week.
Today I weighed in at 134! Yay!
I think all those kms on the bike are doing me some good!
I gained almost 3 lb in 1 night. Sleeping! Possible? Well, it has almost all stayed. It does feel like I have a pound or so extra on each breast due to that TOTM. Unbelievable! Put me in at 168. That's crazy! Hopefully it will go as quick as it came. :(
Hi. Been off-line for a week. End of May weight 152.9  Been for a ride since then though. Ever hopeful for this Fridays weigh-in. ;)
(pops head up)
Hi there ... (waves)
Any chance I can join in for the remaining few weeks? :)
After a couple of months of enforced lethargitude, I'm ready to get rolling again. Well, slowly, and with the stoopid back brace still my constant companion for perhaps another month. :p
I won't be road riding again until well after I get the brace off, but I'm doing short bits of time on the trainer.
And my physical therapist has me doing lots of exercises for my right arm and shoulder. Who knows, my arms might be stronger than before when all is said and done. Not that that's saying an awful lot.
Anyhow, I've also been using the "I can eat this cuz I'm healing" excuse early and often, so naturally I've gained a few pounds in the interim. Eh, not as bad as it could have been, I suppose.
I took the plunge and joined Weight Watchers online (got a slightly reduced rate through my insurance so I figured why not).
Starting weight is back up to 160. grrr. Goal weight for the end of June is 155. Small steps, grasshopper.
You'll get back in the groove Jo.
Veronica
JObob...
I'm right with you... I have a little of surgery weight that I"m trying to get over.... but after all the crap (sorry) that I went through, I am much stronger and could never go on a 2hour ride if I wanted to before. You will be great! keep up the hard work!!!! It truely pays off. I also recently joined WW online and I love it. I"ve lost 4 pounds this past month.... I feel as though it's slow sometimes, but ya know what?!?! It's been staying off and that's a lifestyle change, which is what's it's all about. I'm at your same weight... usually between 158-160... trying to get down to 145 overall.....
You can do it!!! I have faith in you!!!! We are all here if you need us...
PS... it's been a while, but it's 158.2
Thanks Polly! :) And you too, V.
Oops. Up to 66.1kg again this week. I guess the four day holiday that stopped me weighing in last Friday didn't do me so much good... :p
181.6 this week.
145 :D
I thought for sure the 1.5 I lost after last Saturday's big ride was all fluid loss. But, I kept it off all week!
