oh...oh....my. Yes. Lovely pictures, crack included :o
Thank you Salsa for a great evening. Your house looks incredible! We had a great time. I still can't believe you can weave with steel but it was very soft, as steel goes.
It was incredible meeting everyone. I could not have asked for a better group of people to hang out with. I look forward to seeing you all (and others) again.
Knot, if you ever want to road trip to get a wetsuit, let me know. I'm all over that one!
So here's a little cut and paste from elsewhere...
I had a blast. I made it home, but not without dropping some more bucks at a Lulu Lemon store in Portland. When I got home I gave DH the kilt I bought for him, very nice if I do say so myself.
Thanks to everyone!!
It was really fun.
Bruno - you are a gem and I'll never be able to say a certain word without expectorating again, thanks to you!!
X and Kit - You're too much. Thank you.
Knott - I would've rolled you out right then and there on the wet boardwalk, manipped that sucker and bin done with it...
Teigyr - You will be hearing from me. Your SO is a lovely man and I can't wait to see your pole sometime!!
SGTiger and BnK - It was great to meet you, I think I got more of a chance to chat with BnK more, (you're right, we are a little off), but man that was a hell of a good chocolate martini!!
Dex - You're fabulous, love the hair, love the socks, love the attitude. I hope we see each other again.
Salsa and Mr. - What wonderful, sweet and warm people you are. Your house is lovely and warm, a perfect reflection of it's inhabitants. And I love your craft room and Ginko fossils.
MM_QFC and Linda - What a wonderful pair. I truly enjoyed chatting with both of you.
Eden - You're adorable. It was very nice to meet you and the scones were excellent.
Mimi and RD - we'll make up for it all later. It was nice to meet you even if we didn't get a chance to really chat.
As for feeling up X - I won't deny it, it was completely innocent, well as innocent as I can be after all that alcohol.
And Teigyr and Knot....Hmmmmmmmmm road trip. I have 2 guest rooms and lots of great riding.
Pssst... Wahine... if you don't remember last night, I don't either.... :p ;) :D
I really loved the expectorations. In the end, I think I cleared my sinuses a little with a good *nnnngggggkkkkkkk* *cccccchhhhhhhhhhh!!!* but only a mock *ptui* after... y'know... the English. F*ckin' Engl*sh.
As far as the Xident went, I looked over (beside me!) and just see X's kilt up by her knee and two PTs all glittery-eyed feelin' up her leg. What's a woman to do? Oh, yeah, I sipped my Drambuie and went back to discussing the finer points of politics with our Scottish Ambassador.
:D :D :D
Knot, YOU are funny. And I like the "Critical Manners" link.
Yep..you ladies are a hooot..
Bruno-I too said " Those F00000 English" yesterday after the RWC final..:p
I can't wait to go to Canada & perhaps a side trip to Seattle (rellies on Bainbridge island) as you ladies are so cool.
Thanks again for the phoottooos.

at about 9pm sunday night Raleighdon came up to me and said "so how did you get those circus peanuts home?"
he just underestimates me!
Ha! You mean, as our rocket scientist of a president would say, he misunderestimates you.
I should have had party baskets. Do you remember those from when we were kids? Little plastic baskets with paper doilies that you got to bring home, filled with candy, from parties.
But in a pinch, pockets will work!
I TRIED to make those peeps stale, by the way. Put them in the fridge...left them out unwrapped...they have now gone to their reward.
oh, sorry Salsa, I guess i should have taken the ghosts. you need to just let them air for 2 weeks or so.
I'm not sure if by that post you mean that your sad that missed the cursing and spitting. If that is the correct interpretation, well you're right to be, it was actually very funny in a stereotypic Scotland vs England sort of way. Especially when you know that Bruno is a tiny very soft spoken person when you first meet her. It was the Drambuie I tell you!!
Mmmmm... Drambuie :D
I guess I should've had the grain instead of the grape?
((((East Hill)))) I'm sure you're one of the good ones!!!
English Rugby team-bad ones (GO THE SPRINGBOK..can i rub it in more?)
East Hill-Good one
I don't think these gals n guys are the hooligan type & want to thwack ye.

Hey guys, I snagged that group photo from your get-together and put it on our TE facebook forum page. No names unless you're on facebook and tagged. HOWEVER, in retrospect, perhaps I should have asked first, SO, if you have concerns, let me know and I'll take it off today. PM me if you're really mad so I don't get publically (sp?) thrashed. :D
I don't have any problem with it...altho I'm not on Facebook (at least I wasn't till now  ), but thanks for omitting names...all to protect the innocent, eh? Thanks for sending the alert too...
Mary
I don't mind since it was all my fault.:D :D :D
Hey, Bruno, did you have a Calvary at Calgary? Curious minds want to know!!
I hope, given what Mimi just said, that you have at least one hand still free to type us an answer to this question!
Bruno...come in, Bruno...time to report...
What did you-all *do* to Bruno?   ;)
Not a word from her; not snail mail, not e-mail, not pm
she's in Calgary, where she does not have good computer access.
or on an airplane today...
Headed home today. The cavalry arrived in Calgary. More later.
Salsa wonders what exactly she has let herself in for as the party warms up. Sgtiger smiles innocently...

Teigyr, Wahine, Knott and sgtiger look on sceptically as boy in a kilt gives the Scotsman's standard response to the age old question 'What's worn under the kilt?' (Answer - 'Nothing ma'am...it's all in perfectly good working order')

Great pics!! I so wish I could have been there to meet you all.
just call me jacket monster
Ah Bruno, you're great! I love the captions. Nice photos too!
Hey Knot- is that the "Heidi" sweater from Terry Cycles that I was drooling over a few months ago and "almost" bought? :o You look great in it!!
Everyone looks fabulous and so happy. :)
Nope, LLBean "Kingsfield". (cheaper, and just as nice, a bit thicker and heavier)
Great pics, Bruno!
Those are good photos. I love the captions.
That was a load of fun.
Thanks, Bruno...great pics...and loads of fun...(scratching my head here and muttering, "I don't remember any praying...unless it was for more nectar of the gods, aka Drambuie!")...
I am sure X could lead a prayer group. It would just be a matter of what we're praying FOR...
God hears about me enough. She doesn't need to hear from me too. :p
Kit is always getting on my case about talking with my hands. I'd put them in my pockets but I don't think that would stop them from moving while I talked. Hmmm... that would be the wrong kind of fun out in public.
