I love playing bocce. I have a good set from Costco. :D

Only once did we have a really bad In-Your-Face poster (remember Miz Liz?) who might have been suffering from other things due to a bad bike accident. Regardless, she would blast people & actually caused one lady to change her sign-on name.
I generally find that restraint of tongue & keyboard rules on this board.
And it's too hot to wear panties.
I'm sitting at my kitchen table. The heat is on. I'm wearing long pants with long underwear, a wool turtleneck, wool vest, and wool hat. (INSIDE) And I'm still cold.
I had two people yesterday tell me it was snowing about an hour east of Seattle. (up in the hills a bit)
dontcha just love June??!
I normally don't mind Junaury but this year we didn't get the usual chunks of nice weather in April and May. I'm really kind of sick of this. I've been swimming in the river and it's only 56 deg!!
LOL! Affected your stride, eh? ;)
Chiggers have a knack for heading for waistbands, undies lines, cracks and creases. Ack!
My dad was eaten alive by chiggers last year. He had to sleep with cold packs on his arms and legs to get relief.
I'm pretty sure this is the weirdest thread I've encountered. More fun than it started out, but definitely weird.
Which is cool, since I've been driven indoors by the blackflies (if I may add to the weirdness). Anybody familiar with those? Not gnats, not no-see-ums, not houseflies, not stable flies, .... Blackflies are tiny (but not as tiny as a gnat), and like to draw blood. They like to get ears, behind the ears, necks, ankles, the scalp just inside the hairline, and anyplace they can burrow into your hair. The have some sort of anticoagulant they leave when they bite, so sometimes you don't know they got you until later when you scratch behind your ear and find a big crust of dried blood. It is really windy here today, so I thought maybe it would be safe to do some yard work. Ah, spring in the Keweenaw. Gotta love it.
Sorry to be so far off topic - oh wait a minute! No such thing in this thread! :p Technically, I didn't say anything political, so I figure it's okay.
Aggh, I learned to sail on Lake Erie near Monroe, Michigan. We used to get eaten by black flies all the time in the summer. Little bloops of blood all over the boat. Those mean little oinkers.
I buy my chigger repellent from Wal-Mart.
Made in China.
Works great.
I hate bugs like chiggers and black flies. And they hate our wonderful Seattle climate. I'll take this spitting cool rain any day over chiggers, black flies and horse flies. ANY DAY
