a domani, mimi!
you mean, at work domani? yup. you'll see me then.
Well, I guess I could add a pic of my S.O. and I. It won't be up long either, due to privacy issues. I'll leave the others there, I guess. Just a few of my non-biking loves, past and present. Enjoy.
X- I loved seeing you, Offthegrid, and Allezgirl. All three of you look so happy and all three of you are lovely. I adore the last pic. ;)
As for alcohol, another reason to come to Ohio. It is in the grocery stores.
Exactly. I cannot afford to have out of town guests, feed them, etc., and buy a new garage door. So, it will be the five of us, we will still be thankful.
Snap-great pictures! Thanks for sharing your vacation with us.
No, it's a different one! A total impulse used bike that came up for sale and was completely impossible to resist. Hopefully his "real" long-anticipated bike will be re-painted (they got the color wrong after all this waiting) and will be coming back (yet again) across the country in another few weeks, we hope without further incident or shipping mishaps. I'm just so glad he has a nice bike at last to at least be working on in the meantime. He's been waiting patiently for 5 months while I've been sashaying about on my high falutin' Rambouillet all this time. :o He shouldn't have to suffer so long. I'll write more later, but gotta get some sleep....
Umm ladies, help...
Is anyone proficient with PayPal??? If you know another way to sign up when one has an account please let me know. They want overseas folks to actually call them & the hours listed are rather inconvenient as i'm at work...Gee man..
:(
sad cc..

Jennifer, we will be having 5 for thanksgiving too. Just me and DH, my younger daughter and her DGF/partner, and DH's son. I am expected to make my traditional big 2 roast chickens & fixin's extravaganza. (it's what they ask for)
We'll eat for 3 days, go for walks, watch videos, play board games in front of the fireplace. Who could want for more?? :) (except it's a shame older daughter and HER DGF/partner couldn't make it too.) (I feel like I have many daughters!)
OK this time i really HAVE to go to bed!
Lisa-your Thanksgiving sounds as though it will be a lovely one. Sleep well.
That is my Siberian Husky, Cheyenne when she was a wee thing. She's been gone for 3 years now but I still miss her so much. I think I'm finally ready to have another one adopt me. I haven't gone down to the Humane Society yet. I know that if I walk in there, I'll be walking out with a dog. Period. That's not so good right now. (S.O. isn't so keen on the idea of a dog.) I've never been without one in my life for very long and I miss that connection. J. just doesn't get it tho. I'll keep pestering until it happens. (I'm good at pestering. )
As for T-giving... we're going to BIL's house. I have no further official comment at this time. **where's the splittin' headache smilie?**
(((((((((((((X))))))))))))))))
I am so very sorry to hear about Cheyennne.
For Thanksgiving I am going to be at work from 6-2, then we are going to our neighbors for dinner.
I miss having my own turkey, though.

hey BM03...did that package arrive yet?
I want to share some depressing but interesting information. Last night on SBS there was the second part of four of the documentary "The Age of Aids". I had to shake my head when they talked about Ryan Whyte and all the other kids that were shunned, the early days of ACT UP and the quilt. I am not sure why exactly i'm telling you this information but I had to tell someone. I remember those early days, watching the news & wondering. It's good to know progress has been made.
I know this is a biking board....but thanks for listening.

It is not much, but I am happy all the same. :) Today is DH's birthday and for a little while it will be sort of a white one.
