Shorten the story, they were due sometime toward the end of Jan and were born in November. 3lbs and 4lbs-awesome weights. :D One needed oxygen and an NG tube, the other delevoped NEC, and was taken off feeds. We will not know if he will be able to have children until he is old enough to understand and be tested. He had tubes everywhere, but he could breathe on his own. :) His day shift NICU nurse told me I could not hold him, yeah right. :rolleyes: I picked him up and rocked him when her back was turned. :D I guess she was afraid I would mess up his tubes. I worked in health care long enough to not be frightened of tubing.

Having produced two of my own i am always fascinated by birthing. My cousin had a job for quite a while as a neonatal nurse. she took care of sick preemies. Every now and then i got a photo from her of a tiny tiny baby. so neat!

On the Intersection of Hollywood and real lif:
I think the producers and writers go for Drama/ comedy first, and worry about "Real Life" second.

I remember watching a movie about a programmer with a grudge who worked for a railroad. he programmed the computer so that two passenger train would collide. Once the railroad learned of his cunning plan, they brought in Computer Science prof. (William Shatner) to fix it. In one scene, Mr. Shatner was intetly examing a circuit board when Exclaimed "I found the bug!" :rolleyes: Hint :Programming is software, not hardware. Not to mention that the circuit board wasn't plugged in.

I love my Enell, but the sz 1 is too small around my ribs, and even the sz 2 needs an extender at the bottom band. I just don't need two sz 2, and would be happy to pass one on.

B3--I never thought about how bringing in the baby bands would terrify the mom. What an interesting point. I'll bring that up to the nurses next time I'm in L&D. NEC--yuk. So sorry to hear it. Wishing them, and you, all the best. Have a happy, happy birthday with them!

Lucky Brand goes by waist size. They are wonderful. I have always had difficulty getting the hips/thighs to fit without a buldging waist band. These are wonderful jeans.

If in doubt, ask the seller to measure the waist, hips, and thigh. I never had a seller refuse. :)

Yes, seeing those bands when you are fighting and losing is not a cheerful moment. It is truly terrifying, and it never became less terrifying, even the day I lost the fight to carry them to term.

BTW, I think all male doctors should be placed on mag at least once.:p

they look pretty huggable to me too.

I am still having a day from hell. I have to work 10 hour days this week. get here in the dark and go home in the dark.
add jet lag to that. a margarita would not help. then i would only go to sleep faster. Can I go back to Italy now?

And *I'm* wearing it? I think NOT! I wear a 36D, but I must have a really wide rib cage or back or something, because even the size two requires one of those bra-back extenders you can get at the fabric store. It fastens in front, with about 16 hooks. The bottom two hooks just smush my xyphoid (tip of sternum) if I don't extend them. Otherwise I love the Enell, but I sure don't need three of them.
