CWR- I am pleased you made it to WV. Do you see me waving to you? :D
the trip is for work training here in wv. i'm making the side personal trip to az after this.
i did see you BMof3, did you see me?
chickwhorips "i tried to wave to all of you while i flew over. had a lay over for a while in chicago and waved to you chicago girls, and those up in wi."
you didn't wave to us  betcha didn't even fly over here ::::hands on hips, scowls::::
kit, it gets so confusing keeping muliple bikes happy I could never do it.
This one likes Pedro citrus degreaser that one's allergic to citrus, this one lusts after a carbon seat post that one can't have one because she's steel, try to make up for it and I'd show up at the door with a boquet of the wrong spokes ("these are black aero spokes with blue nipples, you know darn well my nipples are green:mad:" )
...it would be a disaster for me.
ohhh. Ok. Well... you know, I get easily confused. :) Glad everything went well. :D
i didn't fly over you trek, but i did do a really long wave. i still need to get my arm back from how far i stretched. i think i pulled my shoulder out of the joint.
BM3 i'm going for a run right now through the woods on all the neat trails here so you don't need to. i need to get on this time schedule. thanks for the thought though.
Enjoy the trails. :) I am off for my run.
Well, I'm taking a break. Got everything done but wash and wax on the car. Too cold and now it's getting dark.
So, CWR is on her way from AK to AZ by way of WV, huh? Makes total sense to me, although it probably shouldn't I guess.
HI CWR!!! **looking skyward and waving like a mad woman**
Kit - It was very superficial. A while ago when I was parked, someone must have tried to pull into the space next to me and caught the corner of my back bumper. They dimpled it way up in. It took some McGuyver-type rigging (you wouldn't believe me if I told you) and I popped it back out on my own but the scrape was still there. I have touchup paint for my color so today I just cleaned it up, painted it and buffed it smooth. Not too bad looking. You really gotta be looking closely to see it. I also repaired some tiny paint chips on the hood and front bumper.
CyclChyk - I take the 5th. (for once  )
Heading out to find a cute little Jeep next. The lots should be closed by now and I can peruse without getting harrassed. My bro D. is gonna hook me up with a hitch and do all the custom rack work for me when I'm ready. He made some small adjustments to my design to incorporate a bike and kayak setup. He's doesn't quite get why I love this stuff but he supports me 100% without questioning. (((D.))) One of my favorite people in the whole world.
I think I'd get it, actually. The repair, that is. Some dumb-*** rearended my metro a few years ago so I had to undo all the clips holding the interior facade in place and use my hand (and a rubber hammer) to put everything back where it should be. I was lucky it didn't stretch the metal beyond a good popping, but it did leave a crease there forever afterward.
That was nothing next to installing the car audio system, though... (audiophile!)
It's worth it to crank DG's techno, look into the rearview and see the speakers thump with the bass. Woo! :D
the trails are so nice to run on here. though i could barely hear anything else besides the crunch of the leaves. ahhhh.... fall. saw over a dozen deer. all females. they just watched me run by, didn't even think twice of running away. a couple i guess i wasn't entertaining enough for them because they went right back to eating. well phewy on them too!
bad thing.... feet are really hurting. :(
You crazy girls with your binary schminary stuff!
Happy Bday X! I'm impressed with your auto body abilities;)
CWR, glad you made it to WV. Thanks for the wave - gottcha.
I was a good girl today and went to church *pats self on back*. Then I went for a run and dog #! poos. Next corner dog #2's turn. Geez. Then 2 boys new to the hood HAD to pet the dogs so I stopped again. Actually, I had such a knot (no, not you dear) in my left calf I had to stop anyway. What causes that? We ended up doing 4 miles then I hopped on the bike and rode 22 miles. Now I'm tired. And hungry. So I'm off to eat and then hitting the road to get my little guy back. Yippee!!
Cbl.
dar just checked out your match.com sight, and i think it looks great! if i find anyone to fit operations FROG i'll let you know.
Went to church, did the non-creedal faith thang; then ran errands like a madwoman.
Finally home, too tired to do much of anything but make dinner. (Do you hear the laundry calling me? No? Well, neither do I. Back to TD.)
Tonight's repast:
Jambalaya. Chocolate and fruit for dessert.
How many places should I set at the table?
And there's still a little chicken stew left if anyone would rather have that.
I love the smell of Jambalaya cooking. Just turned it down to simmer. It's such a nice autumnal cozy-food smell.
Oh, by the way, I made the Jambalaya with brown rice, which will automatically negate any ill-effects from the chocolate for dessert. Right?
I need somebody to be prep cook for me and chop up the broccoli. Before I let you use my cleaver, though, you have to pass the all important "does she know the CORRECT way to hold a knife?" test.
One of my many jobs in my past was prep cook/dishwasher in a tiny little expensive seafood restaurant. I know how to hold a knife...:D
i can prep for ya Knot. i'm good at chopping things, i mean food, but if you need something else have your people call my people, we'll do lunch.
