I really needed a run tonight, but I convinced DH it was okay to not be with me all the time and he took a prospective professor out to dinner. He has called every 15 minutes to ask how my head is, do I have any symptoms, etc. It is nice to be loved, but maybe not quite so much? Then my back-up running partner (yep I am 37 and I am not supposed to exercise alone-SIGH) came home from school with a nasty cold. He better not be faking to get out of running with his mother. Oh, that sounded so wrong. I do not want my eldest to be ill, honestly. I just do not tolerate lying and he has had a little teen fibbing rebellion going on here as of late.

DebW..I use tire levers all the time but haven't had this problem until now..:( Ummm what am i doing wrong then?? It's so much easier changing mtn bike tires..

Woa! Total head rush. I was just hangin' around upside-down trying to get rid of the hickups. Felt like I was about to get a nose bleed so I figured it was time to come down. Everything seems to be leaning to the right, now. hmmm... That can't be good.

Kit - I've got my copy of V all ready to go.I figured I better not wait in case they have a 'run' on them at BlockBuster. So, what do I need for this shindig? I may as well turn it into a RHPS type of event. Whaddya think?

CWR - How's the casaba and stem? How often do you have this slippage problem? It's not something to take lightly young lady. Movement causes spurring, pinching and all kinds of bad voodoo.

Went back to work today after 2 days of calling in dead. Everyone is tippy-toeing around me again.:p Careful, don't piss her off, she'll retire and not tell us!

I seem to be in major WW sabotage mode right now. If it's not nailed down, I eat it. :( I do fine all day, then get home and dive headfirst into a box of cookies.

CC, whether using levers contributed to your recent string of flats is one of the UNKNOWABLES OF THE UNIVERSE. [Though I could expound on how to examine your tire and tube after every flat and frequently determine it's cause.] But you give yourself better odds if you banish those levers and toughen up your thumbs.

Grad school? For today? I'm assuming that's a one-day task since it didn't say "apply to grad school" or "start grad school" or "attend grad school" or "finish grad school". Sheesh, if you can do grad school in a day, I went to the wrong school! :rolleyes: Seriously, in what field are you looking at grad school?

My daughter, in her 1st year of grad school, just wrote her 2nd proposal. The night I finished my proposal, she asked my to review hers. What kind of life is she in for?

Well, I'm off. (in so many ways) Tons of things to do before work. I'm sooooo far behind right now. **shakes head** I have to get caught up by tonight or no going out with the girls. And, I-do-not-miss-the-night-out-with-the-girls. Ever. Besides, this is a special one. (Oh, please don't get me a lap dancer like last year. Not kidding!)
