159.4 today. :D
Great job Trac!!
I'm holding on at 154
146.
I misbehaved a bit this week but I don't like to be too restrictive on holidays. Other than a little more beer than I should have had I was pretty good on portion control. Back into training mode for my next mountain bike marathon tomorrow, that should help!
Still 174.
We haven't even done Thanksgiving yet (BF works through Sunday) so not thrilled with maintaining...
146.5 for me, this week.
Does anyone mind if I join in?
Background: I gained a lot of weight over the past few years (depression + being on lexapro=me not caring about my increasing weight) Used to run but got bursitis a few years ago and have not really tried since (too afraid). That injury is the reason I started riding my bike (did not learn until I was 21-I am 23 now). I have been very inconsistent with riding. Anyway, I started doing a little exercise since Feb and that, along with cutting down some on food, has allowed for some weight loss
In Feb I was 244. This morning I was 224.6. A short goal is to get below 220. A longer term goal is 199.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving :)
-Kim
Welcome Kim (cyclinginmd)- anytime is a good time to join in.
Did you miss me?
Last Sunday I was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis and galls stones that required emergency surgery. I was admitted around 2am Sunday morning and then had to wait, NPO, for my pancreas to "cool off" before the surgeons could take out my gall bladder. Painful, but I did it. Surgery was successful. My gall bladder and the stones blocking the pancreatic drainage, which caused the inflammation from hell.
I'm having trouble shaking the fever and I can't go home until I'm 24 hours without a fever. My pancreas is still inflamed, too, so I'm back at NPO.
As of right now, I'm here for two more days, minimum.
I have no idea what my current weight is. I've had less than a thousand calories the whole week - I was on liquids and soft food briefly, then spiked a 103 fever. Now I'm back to NPO.
I can't help wondering if there is some sort of appetite supressant in the IV drip.
Anyone have experience eating for pancreatic recover? Suggestions are welcome.
Roxy
Roxie,
I posted on your other thread, but just one more...when I was in the hospital before/after my orthopedic surgery when I fractured my pelvis, I also had NO appetite the entire time I was in the hospital (5 days). Maybe it was the painkillers?
What is NPO, by the way?
Hope you get to go home soon!
Emily
Friday again!
112.5
I am happy about the weight. I have a bug so no exercise for the last few days. Combine lack of exercise with boredom from sitting around feeling punky, it is hard not to eat. Unfortunately, illness rarely decreases my appetite. :(
Heading back down again, 136.8. I will take it.
I was 228 yesterday (weighed when starting my spin challenge).
I popped up 6 pounds in one day about a month ago. I thought it had to be fluid, but it stuck:eek::eek: Prior to that, I was seeing progressive weight loss.
141.2. Can't complain -- have been consistently between 141.0 and 142.0 since I got back from the holiday trip on Tuesday.
I've gotten very little exercise this week, though. Last night I was so tired I was walking into walls, so I decided to skip the gym and go tonight instead. But I got even less sleep last night than the night before, so I'm going to need lots of caffeine to get through my workout. And this weekend looks busy so it will be hard to get a couple of workouts in.
153.0 at my WW weigh-in yesterday.
And I was given my 5% lost and my (2nd) 5 lbs lost stickers, woo-woo. :)
137.8 don't expect things to remain that low though (I've been sick)
Good job, Jobob!
Um, for me, it's 142.5. I hesitated to report this as I had a two day stomach bug this week, but the weight has continued to drop even after I returned to eating normally, so maybe, just maybe...it's real. I'll be checking body fat and taking measurements on Sunday, so I'll have a better idea then.
117 for me - still about the same. Came back up a little after El Tour but at least I made it through Thanksgiving okay
144
139 for me after a stressful long week at work. At least I didn't gain.:)
174. Still.
Starting to wonder if my cheap-o target scale is busted and will always read 174. :) Even better, it's been 174.0, exactly, for the last 3 (4?) weeks. I don't trust the tenths of pounds so never really pay attention to them, but now it makes me laugh.
I'll take it though, considering how much stuffing, gravy and potatoes I've eaten this week (staring down another plate for dinner, thanksgiving leftovers may be my favorite food(s) ever :))
I am not doing very well. I'd like to blame it on hormones and stress, but, really, I am just not eating the right foods. Plus I have been traveling a lot (personal and work), which has really messed with my routine and my body. I deserve the nasty blood sugar spikes and bloating. ;)
I didn't have the guts to weigh myself in the last week (well, when I was home, anyway). Maybe tomorrow.
I didn't weigh this morning - had to leave early and forgot. Probably forgot last wee. I forget. I'm going to use my official WW weigh in # on Sunday....
I have to say, while I'd be happy to lose a couple of pounds by the end of the month, I'm really focusing on not gaining weight. It really is hard with traveling and holidays messing with your regular schedule and meals.
201.
Yeah Jobob! I weighed 158 this morning... Had a minor meltdown tonight though :(
I didn't go to work yesterday so I couldn't check. Like I mentioned before i like and its better to check with the same scale everytime.
I did went up a pound and a half after the holidays When i checkd last Tuesday. Didn't workout for the past 5 days. Went back to the Gym yesterday hoping to lose at least 2# by Friday.
Heading to the gym now and going to ride my bike in the afternoon.
132#.
222.8
Nice reset point.
Roxy
143. I have been doing better with eating healthy foods, but need to cut down the portions even more.
Yes, as of last night. It's good to be home.
I'm tracking my six small meals in Lose It. So far so good. The last time I lost significant weight it was with Lose It. It was also riding a lot, which I can't do. I can't do anything strenuous for at least another week, and even then, I have to go easy, so there won't be any long rides for me for a while. No swimming, either, until my incisions and internal stitches are completely healed.
I can walk slowly around the block.
Roxy
Glad to hear you're home now Roxy. Take care of yourself, and soon you'll be back to the activities.
170.6 12/3 and 170.8 last week. The holidays are a challenge, but still hanging in.
Ok...I went up from 201.4 to 203 and change last week after the Holidays, by eating too much and not working out ..
Today I am 201.9 hoping to go down to 200# even by Friday...
:) I reached my final weight goal of 54kg's & now just have to maintain it..:)
I'm normally around the 54.5 to 55kg mark which is just fine with me :)
So so so sorry for being MIA. I've barely had time to sit down and think, let alone to get online. I'm going to go try and update some now.
Needless to say, also had little time to eat right and exercise. UGH!
