Great picture Emily !!!! You look very happy, nice bike.
Emily- great photo!
No new bike pix right now, but here is a pic from yesterday where I spent with my younger daughter on her 30th birthday on the shore in Massachusetts. Can't believe she popped out 30 whole years ago! :D

What a gorgeous photo, Lisa! The colors, composition, background, and the two beautiful smiling women! :)
Lisa, your daughter is gorgeous! How is her program going at U Mass Dartmouth? The south coast is beautiful and is so quiet compared to other beach areas.
I need to PM you... impending trip to Gt. Barrington.
Lady H and me have been putting in some mileage over the last few days. I've made the pics small so as not to overwhelm everyone ;)

The last two are from today's ride. I can't remember the last time I did 20some miles. I'm loving riding the endorphin wave. :D
Pic of me on one of the local trails/areas near my home.
Great pics, all!
Lisa +1,000,000 - your daughter is just beautiful!! :)
We went on a very short (14 mile) ride to an area of west Concord and back today. Decided to stop in the center, to get a drink. So, as we were sitting on the bench in the alley by Main St. Cafe, we noticed there is now a bike pump attached to the wall, for people to use. This is a big stopping place for cyclists who ride out here, from the city. Then, as I was drinking my raspberry lime rickey ( a drink evoking memories of my childhood), I saw someone I know from the health club I used to belong to. We caught up on stuff and then we rode the 4-5 miles home, arriving just as the first raindrops started.
This picture of me looks a little funky, like I have a nice roll of muffin top, which I don't, but I think it's just the way I am sitting.
Great pictures everyone! Lisa it is good to see your daughter, both of you are beautiful women! Dr. Doo, it is great to be able to put a face to your name :)
Solobiker, great pic and I long for the time when I will, hopefully, look as confident and relaxed on the trails that you do in this picture :D
Crankin, it sounds like you had fun. I don't know that I will ever get rid of my "muffin top" but at least mine is a LOT smaller than to years ago!
I love my picture from my last race. Really focused and kind of ...mean :)

The touring photo is from '09 in Maine, my touring bike is my old Fuji League. I'm at the end in the pink.
The mtb photo is my Klein Palomino. She is like me, old but still going strong!
Awesome action shots, Anelia and Jean!
Great stuff. I'm curious about Bulgaria. Tell us more about it cycling-wise, one day.
I promise that I will write an article about Bulgaria but it will take me some time because I want it to be nice with pictures. And here's another picture, not to be offtopic:
Nice pictures, Anelia and Jean!
I still don't have one of me and my bike (except the handlebars)...
Here you are :)
There's not too many of them out there anymore! I've loved mine from the moment I sat on it. It's always been a really good fit, and it handles the tight, twisty, rocky trails here in NH so well.
It did have shifting issues when I first got it, but I took the big ring off, put on a bash ring and shifting issues solved.
There are problems getting parts, so if anything goes massively wrong, I'll have to look for a new bike.
One from today:

Wow Anelia! Looks like a gorgeous day and kind of fun to be riding out in the snow. I would probably be in front of the fireplace trying to stay warm.
The weather was amazing! It the town the snow was melting but at 400 m above sea level it was sunny, snowy and calm. The most wonderful thing was that I had friends with me :D to take pictures and of course, have fun together.
Nice picture Anelia. All I can say is BRRRRRR. I rode today in 72 deg. weather.
Found this 1998 Lemond Tourmalet on Craigslist last week....bought it yesterday for $250 ( I think I could have got it for $200 but hubby made the offer). It must have been meant for me though cause as I got out of the car to go look at it a $100 bill went blowing by my door. I must have looked crazy chasing it :o So I guess I really got it for $150 :D Now to fix it up!!
It's not a ride but we have new outfits: Yippee
I stopped at a coffee shop on the way to the farm market. They were holding a bone marrow drive. My commute/errand bike's at about 49 seconds, then you see my bag on a chair, and there's a brief shot of me at abut 1:49 seconds.
But my 15 nano seconds of fame's not important.
Be the match! You may save a life.

This thread seems to be quiet, but I wanted to share :)

Bella, my older than I am road bike. She's a project of mine. Being a 22 year old self-supporting poor student makes it hard to splurge on bikes, so I'm working on restoring her. My graduation gift to myself will be a new, shiny, custom bike

Cookie Monster, my commuter. This is a picture of him leaning up against a steel staircase along our 9 mile commute after hurricane Irene as I was clearing the pathway a little

Also, me! Snuggling with Bella
Ooooops, me being ignorant I thought your bike make was Lemon, especially when I looked at the pic!
Am not into road bikes but your new purchase is lovely, it's the same year as my bike but in such a good condition, all the decals look great.
Think you got a good deal, you obviously know lots about this bike and know that it cost around $950 when new!
Have lots of great rides on her.
Utmost respect to you, restoring your bike and quite honestly, I bet you get as much fun and excitement on your bike as anybody else, if not more.
Lovely pics, especially nice seeing a pic of you. :)
Incidentally, my bike I inherited from my son and it's a 1998 and I would not change it for anything else.
Happy riding.
BTW Pleased you posted on this thread, otherwise I would have forgotten it.
Bella looks like a super find. I hope you have fun working on her.
Since I'm new, I'll share too. Here's my main/favourite bike:

goldfinch-I really love your folder! I've always wanted one. Are there any major differences between the folders and solid bikes?
There are big quality differences between folders, as there are with any bikes. Mine is an inexpensive seven speed folder, but it seems well made and it is lightweight aluminum. Some of the cheaper folders weigh too much.
I don't like it for anything but short distances. Probably it is because of the upright riding position. At first, it felt twitchy but I got over that with familiarity. But it is convenient to toss in the car and pull out to ride. This particular folding bike really folds easily and even can be wheeled when folded.
