Hi everybody. I am on a mission to lose weight this summer. Perimenopausal hot flashes and extra weight are not what I consider a good time, and though I've let myself drift so far from where I was, cycling-wise, I'm taking control, and starting NOW to get back somewhere in the vicinity of where I use to be. I'm determined.
I have a goal to ride Mon, Wed, and Fridays, indefinitely. It is a goal I've put off for about 5 years now, but this is IT. (I also hike with dog a lot, and do a lot of physical work in the garden). I have been just doing some trails around my cabin, but plan on taking to the pavement and getting in some time soon, gradually. I am 178 now, and goal to be at least 149 next Autumnal Equinox (Sept 22).
126!!!! It's 1 lb. lower than what I started but I'LL TAKE IT!!:D

I'm holding. This has been the most stressful week of my life. And that stress is not going to go away anytime soon with our family in crisis. I'll just be happy to hold for now. but I'm not giving up.

130 this week
I am an emotional eater and this has been one stressful week. So after three days of eating brownies for two meals a day I now weigh 176.4 but I am not giving up.
Seems like a lot of us have had a rough week. My family had a major medical crisis that I had to rush out of state for. I chuckled that my one sister couldn't stop eating and I couldn't touch a bite. :) So I'm down a bit, but I'm sure I'll find that weight real soon. I hope to take advantage of things having settled down a bit and get out and run/walk/pedal.

139 again for me this week. That is good considering I sprained my ankle after my ride saturday and have spent most of the week with my foot wrapped and elevated.

Not a good week this week. Long hours at work and no training. Up to 206.6. But the late nights of fieldwork are almost over for now.

However, I had body composition this AM, my last one was 2 months ago. And in that 2 months, I've lost around 10lbs of fat and my body fat % dropped by 6.5% :D

204, finally. I didn't do anything different, my body just started changing. Although I only lost 1.5 lb, and my pants had been fitting nicely they are all of a sudden to darned big. So, wearing a 14 today, whereas a 16 fit nicely 1 week ago.
maybe I've hit puberty?
LOST ANOTHER POUND!! That makes 2!!! Really happy I passed over that Blizzerd I was craving yesterday!!
155.2 today. I was down to the mid 154's earlier in the week. Ho hum.
No change for me. I deserved it. I didn't do what I should have done and I did lots of things that I shouldn't have...I'm kind of glad that my body is giving me accurate feedback.
I got back on the right path a couple of days ago and I already feel better. Here's to next week! :)
