hmmm not sure why.... they aren't linked to - they are attached directly. Maybe it needs a little time to update... I've got to go (off to a ride :D) but if it isn't loading later I'll try re-attaching.

I can see it too. That is weird since it's an inline attachment hosted on TE.
I agree that the Voler club cut woman's jersey is the best I have. Besides the Amici Veloci one, I have one made for my husband's company. If you can replicate that cut (it's very form fitting, but no elastic) and actually offer an x small, I'm in...
My brain is dried up right now to think of anything to add on the design side.
But I will chime in..definitely have no elastic at bottom. I have several jerseys with an elastic bottom, only out of necessity because I was getting desperate with limited design choices off-the rack in town for women with no elastic bottoms.
I'm a short person with a small bone frame, perfect weight and even for me, elastic bottom jerseys don't complement my frame much. On days when I eat too much, I feel as if the elastic bottom is rounding out/accentuating my bloated tummy. ..which is precisely what happens to men with cycling jerseys with their bottom elastics and their belly paunches.
And elastics around short sleeves..nope. And I have skinny arms. Very annoying when elasticized sleeves slide into 'pits.
Like Mimi, I can't see the image offered by Eden.
Mimi..was that painting at the gallery showing in Vancouver? Damn...we should have bought the original. :D
I love the colour combinations ...black most definitely is helpful for slimming line. The back looks abit lonely....but meditative...much preferably than overly busy designs.
+1 for no elastic. Especially on the arms. Too tight and uncomfortable, especially on long rides.
As for color, I think bright colors like orange and yellow are best, for safety reasons. Regular yellow is fine, doesn't have to be hi-vis. Blues and greens are less visible on the road, because they don't stand out as much.
Eden-that is great too!
CC- How do you like that?!
There are so many to choose from. They are all wonderful.

That's all CC's. From the rules I consider this a concept contest, so I'm just lending a bit of technical support.
Teamwork. Beautiful.
I am an elastic lover - when I have all my stuff in my pockets, the elastic keeps the heavy pockets from drooping and bouncing on my butt. However, how hard would it be to add elastic to the bottom (on your own) of a non - elasticized jersey (Irulan, professional seamstress?) tokie
I'll have something ready by Thursday.
Very rough, but ready.
Thank you eden!!! :D I might make some little changes but i like the theme so far!!
Ooooh I like the round the world one, it's even got Dunedin on it :D
Lots of clever talented people on this site :)
Hilld..I wanted an international themed jersey and ensured Australia & NZ were included :D
Nicely executed Eden! Really like how you framed it in with the gear.
Good idea CC. :D
Tokie I agree, I like the elastic! But only if its the grippy kind that keeps the jersey from riding up.
I also just got a Giadona *spelling?* jersey that has elastic ONLY on the back. Its HOT.
Also, Eden, what do you think about the pins in the map being pink? seeing how it is TE...
Hmmm..I'm not a big fan of pink stuff. What's wrong with red?
Umm Eden..can we pin Scotland..oops..
I was feverishly trying to remember all the countries we have TE ladies & missed Ecosse...:o Sowwy Bruno..
I just a had a brainwave...If someone wants a hi vis jersey, all you need to do is put some hi vis stuff on the pin heads... I've done that on my FatCyclist jersey...
CC- You have forgotten our Cali and Oregon/Washington gals but I love the concept. Move El Paso to Austin. :p:D
That is Mimi's work. There was a gallery show of all bike art up in Vancouver - sponsored I believe by Momentum magazine. I'm not sure if it was that particular painting, but Mimi was invited to display one of her watercolors there.
I figured that red pin over near Washington/ Vancouver BC represented the Washington/Western Canada gals anyway.
That's a cool idea. I can see it just fine now. That was very odd.
What about the Mid-Atlantic gals? Where's the love?
PS I see no need for pink!
We'd love to see lots more ideas!! I get the sense that some of you are holding off because you already like what you've seen, or because you are concerned about your design skills, or intimidated by the amazing talent here on the boards. Remember, we want concepts as well, even if they are rough - we can always hire a graphic artist to flesh out an idea, if needed. So submit your ideas!! We'd love to see them.
Thanks so much to all of you who have submitted already. We are so impressed by all the creative ideas. This will be a VERY tough decision making process!
Susan
I spent like 5 hrs trying to bend photoshop to my will last night and I think I finally got it enough to get the concept across... I should have just hand drawn it! Tho now, I might fiddle with slight variations on my theme. Hoping to have them up by the end of the week.
do we get to vote? There are some very creative people out there. I am impressed!
Yes - we'll close the contest to new submissions here in a couple of weeks and then put together a poll where everyone can vote on their favorite concept / design.
I LOVE CC's version (and the watercolor one, too). Where CC's has "just rolling along" it might be more "Earth" friendly to use the word spin or spinning (although it may make people think of spin classes), or turn or turning. That's just my comment--no criticism intended.

I think Lisa (BSG) needs her own jersey. :D

Oh thanks a bunch!- I almost spit my coffee all over my keyboard!
-I love it!
I'll take three of those.
:D :D :D :D :D
Okay, now that I've seen BSG's avitar I understand. Was very confused there for a moment.
:D
TY Admin for cleaning up the submissions thread. Much easier to navigate now.
