I'm thankful that my intensive is over and for all the things it taught me.
I'm really thankful for a cold beer.
On 1 March, I'm thankful
That we had no rain last night, so I could ride outside this morning [47 toasty degrees!]
That March means new beginnings (meteorological (sp?) spring starts today)
That my husband is NOT going in to the office this weekend! :)
On 1 March, I'm thrilled to see that the high temp today will be in the low 70s! Woo-hoo--looks like a great day for a long ride!
I am thankful that one morning someone woke up from his slumber and decided that he'd had enough - that today would be the day that he would set out to prove once and for all that the world wasn't flat.
I am also thankful that one morning someone else woke up from his slumber and decided that he'd thought about it long enough - that today would be the day that he would set out to build the first airplane.
I am thankful that one morning someone else woke up from his slumber and decided that he had finally figured out a way for people to shop and communicate over their computers.
All of these things make a trip for me and my DH to the tropics possible. When we get there, I will be thankful for being able to experience SPRING a little earlier than if the world was still flat, we couldn't fly, and we couldn't purchase trips online in the comfort of our homes.
YIPEE!!! Thanks God, for making people with brilliant minds!!!
On March 1 I am thankful that my mom is healthy and active and will be 85 on Monday (3rd); and that she will be participating in my cycling wedding in April!
I am thankful that the snow is finally gone from the front yard and almost gone in the back. I am especially thankful that the street cleaning has started!!!!!
I'm thankful for the cop who didn't give me and DH a performance award today  - not only for giving us a break, but for doing his job generally.
And for another beautiful day.
I am thankful that right now as I type, both of my sons are home, sleeping in their beds. And I am thankful for my son's girlfriend who is also here; yesterday I bought her a birthday present and I realized that it was the first time I ever bought "girl" things!
Sunday gratitude
Strong & healthy
Everything works (no car, house, etc. "issues")
Sunny skies, warming temps
Chilly ride but 43 OUTDOOR miles on dry pavement
I'm thankful for sunshine!

Today would have been my mother's birthday. I'm thankful to have had her as my mom, and to have her watching out for me now.
((((redrhodie))))
I am thankful that I've had 14 wonderful years with my dog, even though I know right now she's not feeling well, but soon she will be. I'm thankful that she chose me as her human and made a point of following me everywhere I went.
I'm thankful for having had the chance of saving a dog from the shelter and giving her a wonderful life.
I am thankful that our good friends gave us a bird feeder 15 years ago, thus starting my huge love affair with watching the birds. They're beautiful and entertaining. They have given me great pleasure and saved my sanity during tough times. I mean, who could resist a bright-eyed, curious, bold little chickadee?
I'm grateful for being able to run.
And for quiet motorcycles.
I'm grateful, immensely grateful, that I was able to spend a wonderful weekend with my sweetie.
Oh, so THAT'S why neither of you was around OTA...
Yeah, we were busy :p
Well I opened the door and my kitchen is not done. Wouldn't it be nice if elves completed the job while I'm away? But I'm glad to find my dog well and very happy to see me, she does not mind the mess.
But I already do :p Ladies, this is my kitchen.
Campground table, microwave is up on the shelf to the left, fridge to the right. Note the attractive mitre saw and wiring stored underneath. ;)
I am grateful for the electric tea kettle my carpenter gave me. Extremely handy :D That and a French press coffee maker, I'm set :D Who needs a kitchen. All I need is a way to make coffee.
Same here, Redrhodie...March 2nd is still my Mom's birthday, but we celebrate her without her physical presence now...her loving grandsons and SDIL joined me in remembering and celebrating a wonderful woman with a yummy brunch, plenty of (her favorite) red in the floral bouquets around the house and a rousing game of family Scrabble...she used to beat us all regularly...sure do miss her and I have the same gratitude as you: to have had her for my mother - what a gift!
Scrabble! My mom was a master! Wish I'd thought of playing. Thanks MM for the great idea for next year.
Today, I'm grateful I had a fantastic ride.
Today I'm grateful for my health and the health of my family (my mother's been ill lately, but we think she's on the mend).
It's been a tough 10 days having to deal (emotionally and practically) with more divorce details. I'm grateful to have such a supportive family.
This is my kitchen

My new assignment

I'm grateful that Ã*'m able to cycle outside again..no matter how slow I might be.
I'm grateful to work for my best friend, and I'm glad she has dogs that love me.
I'm grateful that I made it home safely tonight. I drove home from work through some of the heaviest, scariest rain I've ever driven in, in heavy commuter traffic.
In drought-striken NC, we need the rain desperately, but not like this. Got home and discovered that a tornado warning had just expired for our county (we're under tornado watch until midnight).
Glad to be home!
Emily
I'm grateful we had some much-needed rain and no scary storms tonight.

I'm grateful to have such a beautiful bike.
I'm grateful to have a way to support myself, even thought I don't necessarily like how I'm doing it.
I'm grateful that tomorrow's Wednesday and that means the week is half over!
I'm grateful that the rain stopped just in time for my morning ride (and I got home before the downpour)
Continued warm weather
Golden Retriever kisses!
I'm grateful for burning 500 calories this morning in boot camp, and that means I can eat the other half of the banana nut muffin I've been saving. And maybe even indulge my PMS-induced chocolate craving. ;)
Karen
I am grateful that the internet is finally back up and running!
I am thankful for my sisters who love me.
I am thankful that spring is here! ok...technically almost here..but it sure feels like spring, looks like spring, sounds like spring.....
and I'm thankful that there will be more hours of daylight in just over a week!
(daylight savings time!)
I'm thankful that I can be amused by the fact that the squirrels are eating my crocus bulbs. It's STILL spring, you little piggies! And yet more amused that they seem to have a preference for "blue".
I am ever so thankful that I live in a climate where spring starts in February and goes through May-June. I love it here.
Thursday grateful---
