One Green Lion (who goes by the same name) that I caught at the Zulu parade a few years ago, and who has a big belly (comforting to put my hand on when the BF isn't there with his belly) :D. Green Lion was recently joined by "Kissy Kat," and of course there are the three real kitties who frequently adorn (or hog) the bed.
(Geez, I read that as "Green Loin...")
On my bed, (king-size soft-sided waterbed in a sleigh-bed frame with wrought iron flowers and leaves in the middle of the headboard) I have a quilt I made for my mom over the footboard, seven pillows for me and four for BF, usually some jammies hanging on the footboard, and BF's contribution, a (real) coyote skin- head, feet, tail and all. We call him Mr. Coyote. He lays quietly at the foot of the bed. His fur is very think and soft. My mom collected bears- I have two that I gave her that I got back when she died, but they live on a chair. I also have a few Beanie Babies here and there.
I usually get my cycling clothes out the night before. I decide by wearing something I didn't wear last time. I always wear the same shorts, unless they are in the wash.
Two cats share my bed too. You are all right, pets take up way more room than they should, but I don't have the heart to tell my two loveable siamese they have to move. Sometimes I am even willing to take a smaller section of the bed than they have! One of my siamese, has to use one of my pillows too....and just for his head (he isnt curled up on it)! He sleeps with his head on the pillow, and then stretched long like a person beside me. It makes e laugh, so I put up with it.
We've got 3 poodles (a standard poodle, a miniature, and a cockapoo) and a Maine Coon cat. And they all sleep on the bed. Which is why DH and I have a California King bed - everyone sleeps on the bed, and DH and I would be on the floor if we didn't have the extra space. Because between the standard (who manages to stretch himself out to the largest size possible), and the Maine Coon (who requires a Certain Amount of Space From The Dogs), it is pretty cozy! But we'd be lost without them! :)Quote:

And you thought i was this mean Canadian biker chick that likes to run over kiddies......
Can't wait to buy a house & get an animal that can sleep at the end of our bed..Don't think they'd like me though as move around alot in my sleep......

wow never knew there were so many people that sleep with their pets.
i tried sleeping with my two dogs while BF was away. didn't go so well. the big one that's my size took up a good deal of the bed, and the other one took up WAY to much bed. i had them on the top of the sheets so they tucked me in. though they tucked me in a bit to much. they lasted on the bed for about an hour before i kicked them off.
i like sharing the bed with either BF or my big body pillow when he's not there and the longer clean sheet day lasts the happier i am. i love clean sheet day.:)
My 4 penguins are: Penguin, Lego, Milton, and Sigmund.Quote:

Bed attire... fortunately I read the entire attire thread because I was gonna just punch reply as say:
"What attire? This dog sleeps nekkid..." So now ya know.
But I read... and laughed as the expected drift piled up. So, anyway, back to the question posed:
Assuming I remember to 'make' my bed, it gets 3 decorative chenille pillows (2 royal purple, 1 deep crimson), 1 red teddy bear and one purple Tinky Winky doll.
spazz
....and all this time I thought I had a lot of "stuff"! Considering the images in my head at this moment, our bedroom is very sleek and tidy!
Our bed has no extra pillows nor any other ornamentation. I would hate having to tidy it all up everytime one of the two huge border collies (much larger than average) or the two cats decided to move them about! Of course, the four of them are, at least during the cool nights of winter, ornament of their own. And, yes, it is truly amazing how much room one average sized cat can take!
We need a king sized bed.

This thread makes me feel a bit better about our stuffed toys. We have Eeyore, 'blind ted', possum, and Gorilla on (and usually in) bed. Eeyore and gorilla are mine, possum and Ted are BFs. Blind Ted is 50 ish and showing his age (I haven't quite figured out why Ted is a few years older than BF - he is more BFs brothers age but if that was the explanation I'm not sure why we have him)
I have a not so normal sized cat - my Big Kitty is 20 pounds and almost 20 years old! He definitely takes up more room than I do in the bed and of course scoots me out of they way if I get too hoggish! Between the cat and my husband, I'm just a little speck on the bed
No Tux? ;)Quote:

My only conflict is if I get cold in the night and want the blanket and the dog is sleeping on it on the floor.Quote:
