Whoa, twilight zone, Lynette, we are exactly the same weight today!
142.6. I was really surprised to see that, I've eaten ice cream 3 times this week. Next week I start spin and swim class, so it should be better, fingers crossed!

180.5
It's in the right direction at least.
153 for me :( Wrong way scale!
Today: 214.6
doc put me on a diuretic last week, so I've dropped the fluid I was retaining! :)
I weighed less yesterday. But considering I started out a bit "high" today's weight is still a loss:
120.4
(114 seems a long way to go!)
I stayed the same :( 202.5
Not sure how that's possible since I started boot camp this week and have been watching/counting every morsel of food that has gone into my mouth.
186.5
cbee asked about HRMs. That's funny because I dug mine back out and started wearing it (helps if you wear it!) and it's been a big help. I hate focusing on the numbers, but it's the only way it seems to come off. My reward is to NOT WEAR it anymore! Fancy that!
167.0 today so it's a move in the right direction. :) I've been eating tons of veggies and fruits this week and staying away from sugar and gluten. I rode Mon, Tues, Thurs for 90miles total and am doing PUPS. Lookout little black party dress, here I come! LOL

I am totally disgusted this morning and plan to quit weighing myself. My clothes are looser but my scale is unreliable and is making me crazy! So, sorry to be a dropout here, but I plan to forget the weighing and to simply go by the way my clothes fit. In fact, I am so disgusted with the scale that I just may throw it out the window. :(
Good luck to everyone here!
231.5 this morning.
I ballooned up with water toward the beginning of the week, and it finally started coming off yesterday.
I'm up a bit today - 165.8. That's ok, it's TOTM, so I can't complain. It could be worse.
ASammy1 - if you just started bootcamp and you are sore - your body could be retaining fluids (your muscles, specifically) to repair. I always gain a little when I first change up my workout routine. If you are consistent, I'd bet that by next week, you'll see a drop.
I recently remember seeing a fitness site that has a way to track measurements. Maybe do that and only weigh in every 2-3 of weeks to keep the stress down but still know how your doing? I like the idea of keeping track of measurements along with weight because depending on what activities your doing, or if you start working out more, or the more fit you get, your muscle to fat ratio can change. You may weigh a little more, but if your size is going down then that's a good thing.
Don't give up just yet. There is no judging here and you shouldn't be disgusted about anything. Maybe just a new approach to tracking would help motivate you?
Dont really know what to say. Rode the bike x-tra miles this week,walked/jogged with the dogs everyday, went to the gym 2x this week and I have gained a pound. I guess its not a big deal anyways since its my TOTM. So anyways up to 115 this week. Hoping next week will be better!
Thanks for the encouragement GLC1968 and Aggie_Ama! For the record, I am sore, so I hope it is water retention due to muscle repair.
118.5 today. lost 1 lb. keeping a food journal is helping. and having a partner who's also trying to lose a little helps as we are getting out there. we'll be taking my "new" bike for a spin today and then later a short trail run with our dog. We signed up for our first trail run race 8k in Dec. so that's motivation and it helps with his training for cross season and for future tri's for me. i'm also getting on trails with my cross bike for the first time and that's a fun challenge! (I'm a fairly new rider) So trying new things, places and having fun is going to help. Now if only i would be more diligent with my daily PT designated core exercises!!!
Weigh in 9/12/08: 136 lbs
One pound. I'm hopeful that when I start spin class again fall term I'll see a nice big week!
140.2 this morning. I have eaten much better this week and have been drinking alot of water. Hope to continue in this direction1
152.5 this morning. GLC thank you for doing the table again this 2 months!
Martina
I have been eating like an out of control pig:(. All I can figure is that I'm about a week away from that time of the month. I have been trying to take a recovery day from cardio and lift weights inbetween. Which in ways is a good thing. But, I can't keep eating like this without cardio everyday. So, I'm lucky so far the scale only went a little up (wrong way *sigh*). About 124.25 for me on the gym scale this morning. Bleah...
Cbee, do I ever appreciate your comment. I shall look into tracking measurements, as you suggested. This morning when I stepped on the scale, I weighed 188, whereas I usually weigh only 180, so that REALLY blew me away. Seems the numbers change whenever I move the scale to a different location. lol How weird is that?! I'm glad that I am allowed to weigh in intermittently . . . I didn't think I could do that. I'll give it another go. :)
146.5 from 148.... but having a hard time with chocolate and salt
138.5 for me. I'm in such a bad eating rut, right now. Hope I can kick the habit soon.
Yeah, weighed yesterday, no change. 220. But I haven't been riding or doing anything this week - busy week for me. So I'm glad I maintained.
125.4 this morning. Down from 126.6, so I'm quite pleased. This has motivated me to get back into eating better. That's made the difference.
I weighed myself yesterday morning & forgot to post it..Whoops.. It's that time of the freakin month so I assume i've gained some sort of weight..
Ugh..
132.4 this morning.
Confession. I weighed myself yesterday morning and it was 135.6. I knew it was probably water weight gain and decided to wait another day to report in. Sure enough, it was down appreciably today.
Maybe kjay and I own the same make of scale ;). I know that mine is terribly inaccurate even though I weigh in at the same time with the scale in the same place on a tile floor.
I hope that this new lower number is for real, but know that next week it could read 3 lbs higher again for no apparent reason. I think, like kjay, I will also be paying closer attention to the way my clothing feels. I'll keep reporting in, but will not take the number too seriously.
134 yesterday. Not good. I'm going in the wrong direction. :(
Is it too late to join in????
I weighed in at 169.2, which I honestly don't believe.
I think my scale lies....
I hope I catch the monday noon deadline.. oops. I've been so busy I completely forgot. But I got my bike back over the weekend and have started riding already. !! Hooray
current weight 138.8lbs
No, not at all! Just post your starting weight and what your weight goal is for the next 8 (well, 7) weeks and I'll update the chart.
And welcome to you and to 3for3! :) The more the merrier, right?
Here is week 1 (we are missing a few weigh-ins this week!):

Heh. I didn't notice this before, but my goal is actually 226. I wanna lose 6 lbs, rather than gain 4. ;)
Starting weight 210 , goal of 190. Like that chart, is that done on Excel?
I wasn't here to weigh in anywhere NEAR Friday, so put me at "the same". (I am currently the same). I'll get back on track this weekend! Thanks.
Jes
I just realized I'm not even ON the chart! Somehow my first week's didn't get recorded.
Posted on 9/3:
And as it turns out, I'm not the same... I'm up to 168.8 as of yesterday. So I guess put that down for the 12th. Can we put me back in?! THANKS! I need the accountability! :rolleyes:Quote:
have the same goal as last time -- 158lb, consistently! Starting at 167.8.
I keep forgetting to post. 174.4 for me, I think that may be down 0.2 - don't all applaud at once. :) ha ha ha
Yep - it's in excel and it calculates everything for me (provided I key it in correctly!). Then I save it as a photo and post it like one so that everyone can see it. :)
Hi Jes - sorry! My mistake...I'd hidden you until we heard from you. I'd had your goal in correctly, but somehow missed the weight!
And Dex - I've fixed your goal as well.
:o

Thanks Glc!!!!!
Does anyone else get a craving for candy corn when you view this chart? No? Just me? Figures!
