I can't decide on the original Road ID or the Slim Road ID. My wrist are kind of small, so I think the slim might be better, but the original looks like it might be made a little better. I have it narrowed down to either purple or pink.

I have purple for home rides, runs, races & gym activities and yellow for "up at the cottage" rides & runs. Just updated the info tag portions this year as DH cell phone # changed. Wash whatever one I've been using weekly- just use some shampoo when I am in shower. Feel absolutely naked without it.
I've the Slim and it seems fine - I went for the small size since I've small wrists and while I do have to stretch it a bit to get it over my knuckles, it is fine after that point and not too small/tight. It is made from the same material as the Livestrong bracelets.Quote:

I did choose the Interactive, and am glad I did.
My hubby and I usually ride together so I used to wear my Road ID and carry my cell phone only when I rode alone. As luck would have it, the only time I was significantly injured was on a mountain bike trail when hubby and I agreed to separate and meet up about 20 minutes later. I fell and broke my ankle just after hubby rode out of earshot. Of course he was carrying the only cell phone between us so I couldn't call him either. I was dependent on helpful strangers to go find him.
Everything turned out fine in the end but I learned my lesson. What if I had sustained a head injury rather than an ankle injury?! Now I wear my Road ID and carry my cell phone on every ride.

The Road ID website has lots of information on what to include, abbreviations for medicals conditions and allergies, stuff like that. (E.g., "NO PCN, SHELLFISH" means allergy to penicillin and shellfish.)
Many people don't need all the lines for info, which is why the last line might be something inspirational.
I have the interactive version which is much simpler, I debated for a long time which version to get but settled on the interactive one. Mine just has my name and birth year, along with how to access my information. I did have a bit more information on my Classic band (the velcro version), but the Slim id has 1 line less available.Quote:

I ordered the Slim in purple. I didn't realize they had a slim until reading your posts.
I have an ankle on and a wrist one. It depends on where I don't want a tan line as far as which one I wear, but I tend to favor the wrist one. I have tiny wrists so I got the small, and it's pink because I just like pink.

Love my RoadIDs. I have the wrist sport original. Tiny wrists, so size small. Fits perfect. Pink and purple. I keep them hooked thru the straps on my bike helmets. I would never ride without my helmet so my RoadID is not forgotten.
I've also ordered some reflective gear from them. Which was nice. And their FireFly blinkies. The batteries thru them are dirt cheap compared to the store.
Once I had a blinkie break when I was putting it together. The customer service lady mailed me a new one free shipping no problem. She said their returns department is literally a shoe box on top of someone's desk. Very nice people.
I had a med alert bracelet that I wore for a while but it broke. These are cheaper and seem to serve the same purpose.
I don't wear one, but am always careful to have ID, health insurance card, emergency number and phone on me. Here's a post from a rider who did have a Road ID on, had an accident, and the ambulance medics didn't look for it, had never heard of it and chastised him for not having ID. He was OK, and conscious, but lost quite a bit of faith in Road ID.

My slim Road ID came in the mail today. I went with the purple. I ordered a small because I have small wrists and I did the measurement thing with the dollar bill. When I first opened it up, I thought 'wow, thats too small', but its snug going over my knuckles, but once on my wrist its just right.
