I'm still awake, so obviously there was no early bedtime for me tonight. Please pardon me in advance if I don't do more than grunt at you when we all meet at Cedarville...
You missed a great day, kd! Biking and kayaking were both a lot of fun, and the day couldn't have been more beautiful.
And to top it off, two bald eagles flew overhead as we were loading the kayaks on the cars. Gorgeous!
Thanks 7, kmehr, and mdhs!
Fun stuff.
Here's the ride.
Had a camera in my Camelbak, but forgot it was there!
I had a fun time, but my left shoulder is pretty sore.
I know that red kayak, and possibly the orange one.
Both shoulders are sore this morning, especially my left, but I love getting on the water! :)
OK, 7 is yellow.
Who is multicolored and what kind of kayak is that (as in touring, etc)
The yellow, and the orange, actually.
You paddled the orange one at the Monocacy River. MDHS is now the official Orange Boat User...unless we completely destroy her shoulder...and the rest of her, as she's living up to her "What the Hay...let's give it a shot" attitude! :)
The multi-colored one is a Wilderness Systems - not sure what model. Is it a Pungo? It's a rec boat.
It is Kmehrzad's boat.
Small....so she could easily maneuver it and lead us deep into the Island of Reeds From Whence There is No Return! (well, we did find our way out...or else we wouldn't be posting pictures and such now...) ;)
This what our dead-end route looked like:
That is really cool. The numbers aren't miles, are they? It didn't seem like we went 4 miles.
