John, You go! Kick it's butt... and I'll bring the beer for the party... :D I bet Yogi is looking on you right now and there by you, cheering you on. Hugs...
John and Leslie,
You guys are in my prayers. How lucky you are to have each other to get through a time like this! Just think of it as a rocky single track and you will be stronger, better people once you get through it - and you will.
Good luck on the 24 hour team race too. You have a lot of butt-kicking to do - I hope you're thirsty!

Hey, John & Leslie - I got a pair of bloodthirsty-looking' snakeskin cowboy boots that are very eager to kick the **** outta cancer. And then they'll dance at any shindig you throw.
You've both been in my thoughts all day. I'm going outta town for a week or so & won't be online, so I'll have to catch up on your news later. Just 'cause you don't see my tag for a while doesn't mean I forgot ya.
Love, Lynda Gene the LLB
this forum proves something I've believed for a long time - the invisible world is even more powerful than the visible one ;)
Your positive outlook, and goals for your future will go a long way in your handling of this. We are all cheering for a healthy prognosis. Warm wishes and prayers, and hopes for a clean bill of health.
Leslie
Just 'cause you can't see us doesn't mean we're not here. Same thing goes for positive, healing energy. You can't touch it, but it's there. So tune in and know that there's a LOT of healing energy being sent your way! We're right by your side.
Hey Gang at TE!
Our day is ending much better than it began, with the news from the ultrasound speaking those immortal words of Ahnold....see title line above...
Although I do have a growth on the lefty, its not a tumour, but something called a varicocele...or a naughty little blood vessel that has been damaged...ooops, my bad....and has gone crazy. It will have to be dealt with, but it's NOT cancer and I don't have to be cut up and filled with chemo! YAY!
I can't thank you all enough for the great words and the positive energy you sent our way. Teresa was a rock, and I feel like i was a total wimp, but she says I wasn't. I'll have to take her word on that.
I've always heard of the life alterring experience, and I've gotten mine, right between the eyes. Like Holy Crap! Everything now seems just a little bit brighter, a lot less stressful or too important, and life is there to be cherished and celebrated.
Wow!
Once again, WE thankyou for everything.
We did it. All of us.
J and T :)
Party to be announced...
Wow, what a relief! Party on!
YEA!!!!!!! Excellent news! :D A big congratulations to you both and here's hoping the fix for the blood vessel is quick and painless.
I think you guys must be able to hear the pitter-pat of cycling shoes doing the "happy dance" all over the country! :) :)
Great news!
Wooohooo John and Teresa - what Great news! I think ya'll need to go ride some easy singletrack at a really slow pace and celebrate the day!
Just wonderful news!
Congrats! :p
