I did the 100 kilometers of nowhere on Saturday--around and around and around a quarter mile track at the local high school. Geez, that was mind numbingly boring!!! And I'm going to get a big ol' DNF too because I miscalculated the distance home and ended up three tenths of a mile short of 100 kilometers. :p I would have kept going to hit the mark perfectly, but there were people waiting for me to arrive home and I was running late! Originally I had planned on just 50 miles, but I thought I could finish up 62 miles in time to get home.
I'm glad that's over. Next year I'm doing it on a trainer with something good to watch on t.v.!
