Those bibs are made to use with the SMP saddle... which doesn't contact the body where it would be putting pressure on the zipper. I can't imagine that anyone would be dumb enough to wear those while sitting on any other saddle.
I can see that these bib shorts would only work w/ the SMP saddle - but I have a brilliant zipper bib short solution. I own a pair of bibshorts by a German company called 'Protective' - the zipper runs down the back & stops just below the small of your back. If you squat down you can just pull them down - works really well if you have lots of clothing on your top 1/2 so can't easily release (& more importantly - re-attach!) bibs w/ 'buckles'. Best of both worlds - the pad is brilliant & I think they come in longs too. They are so comfy (& solve the notorious toilet problem without any disadvantages) I will likely get a 2nd pair & also some longs. I got them from the Edinburgh Co-op which is the only place that sells them in the UK - don't know if they are available in the US - but if demand was great enough, I am sure they would find a distributor . . .
Now I'm going to have to go home and watch that movie again. Sheesh....

That was too funny! Btw, I thought all cyclists' bodies are completely hairless, maybe this will start a new thread
