I have to say that I have never worn the sports like style bras.. to me it looks like too much material for myself when I'm small anyway.
Besides I don't wear sleeveless anything when I'm cycling or hiking..no matter how hot it gets. Just a personal rule...to keep the skin of my chest, upper arms and upper back area .."preserved". :p (And it really has proven true for me over the years...compared to skin on my face.)
I just wear an ordinary bra underneath.. but just like everyone else, still wicking and sweating problem.

I wear lululemon bras (not too busty) and they work well. They have a lift and separate bra that is made of this really light, silky material (tactel fabric) and then they have this deep v bra that comes with removeable cups that looks good if you're not too busty and you want some shape.

I've tried different sports bras and last year I bought a Moving Comfort bra. It wicked somewhat but the problem I have with bra is that it seems to dig into my ribcage--even with the largest size. I live in a region that has high humidity and temps in the summer so I tried something else that I wore in the heat of the summer--Wacoal T-Back bra.
Even though it's underwire it's very comfie and it has never chaffed me. It works nicely under my bib shorts too. As a C cup, I am much cooler in this bra than other uni-boob style bras. I call it my hotter n hell bra.
