Bruises ARE internal bleeding, and yes, that blood does move around !
I also flew through the air once after losing control of my bike. I remember my brief weightlessness experience, but then gravity claimed me and I fell and cracked ribs too, but nothing like Donald or Susan. I too had to ride the remaining 10 miles back home. Donald got to go to the ER like Susan.

There is no 'gaurantee of safety' in this sport that is for sure, (mix in a little speed.. around a few thousand pound vehicles mixed in with road debri and little tires....stuff could happen)

That actually happened to me--only I was on my motorcycle. :eek: The bee, apparently unhappy with her suddenly dark surroundings, stung my earlobe then went on her way. I yelped, pulled over at the earliest opportunity, checked helmet to be sure Ms. Bee was gone, then went on my way. Lucky I'm not allergic.Quote:
