A year ago, I would have rudely snickered if someone had said you could make genuine, good friends online. Note I ain't laughing about that now. I have developed some real friendships on this forum. You guys are quite a fine bunch, and I appreciate it more than I can say. I've copied many of your posts and emailed them to my sister. They will make her cry, in the good way.
Rocknrollgirl, I am so sorry. I didn't know. You have my total sympathy and well-wishing, as do all the rest of you who have lost parents or others you've loved. There's no easy way. But I'm glad we've gotten to love them.
My mother would be waving her hand at us and saying, "Go, girls--go have some fun now!"

I am so terribly sorry. :( I do not have the proper words to convey my feelings. Please know that I shall be keeping your family in my prayers.
My condolences to you Salsa, you are in my thoughts. Also to RockNRollgirl for her loss also. Both of you ladies take care and best wishes to you and your families.
Salsa,
I am so sorry to hear this news. There have been too many parents lost recently. My two best friends at work each lost a parent (one to pancreatic cancer, one to heart attack) in the past three weeks, and then I come on here and read about your mom and RnRGirl's mom as well. So very sad. :(
Wishing you peace and strength in this difficult time.
Emily
Your mom sounds like she lived a wonderful life, making the world a better place. Thinking of you and your fam. on this sad day.
Salsa, I was out at the Bee-eaters nesting colony this morning and thought of you all the way and stopped for a few minutes where they were all whistling in the early morning and said a (very tiny) prayer.
Dear Salsa,
I'm sad for you and your family to hear that your mom is gone. May you feel how big her spirit is every day--I believe that's never gone. She's free of the restrictions of her body, and always with you. I'm so glad you two had all those wonderful years together.

Salsa, so sorry about your mom.
I'm sorry you lost your Mom. I'm sure you know much of what you are today was a gift from your Mom. Take care and may the love and good memories of your Mom sustain you.
