Okay, some friends bought this Banana Bunker for DH for babysitting their dog one day. As a joke, of course (I HOPE!). :eek: I don't even want it in the house. I searched the site, and this looks different than the one that was posted before (unless I missed something). I think this is even worse! I have not found a banana that will even fit in it - the "ribbed for pleasure" area looks bendy, but isn't very flexible at all - the lid would pop off easier.

ROTFL! Thanks for a good laugh. I'd be too embarrased to pull that out in public. As it is, I can't eat a banana without Dh sniggering. Better to deal with a mushy banana.

There's nothing like hearing your son say "whatttt is thatttt??"; "Don't worry son, it's just something you use to protect your banana"...and I always said "TE is a safe place!":)

I never quite understood banana protectors that have been around for ages. Guess some people are real fussy about their banana(s). :p

Why not design one for..lovely mangoes or peaches? OK, we won't go there now. :o:p

I've actually seen "Frootguards" (can't remember the name for sure) for apples, pears, etc. at the kitchen store on Granville Island. Not quite as cool as the banana guard though.
