Thanks for the link. I learned a little. Actually, I've been doing it the hard way.
if you follow her directions, it's fairly easy.
Knot, be sure you read this too.

drape it over the top tube of the bike?
Wow, multifunctionality!! never thought of that!!
Oh, oh. I qualify now. My Smartwool showed today. How fast is that! Ordered Saturday, got it today!
TE is so fast. BTW, If anybody wants that hoodie, they are right on TE's site, it does run bigger than normal.
Next time I make a pilgrimage to the Pendleton outlet in Oregon, who wants to come with me?
Me, me, me. !!
I biked down the Oregon Coast in1980; so I can do that again too
Going to look at the website now

follow directions  follow directions?? you want me to read and then follow directions when I could be doing things the hard way? What fun is that?
Margo. road trip!!! with stops at TE, the Pendelton outlet....
I just received my Smart Wool shirt from Steep and Cheep and is is luscious! Very light weight, smooth, and silky. Too light weight to wear as an outside shirt without something underneath it. Which got me to wondering...Does anyone make a merino wool sports bra or shelf-bra camisole? I love the feel of merino wool next to my skin, especially when I'm riding or paddling, but when I start sweating, any bra I am wearing feels damp. Seems like a wool/lycra blend bra would be just the thing for a true wool weenie!

here is a little article for you wooluvers to enjoy:

Thanks for the article. I did not know Smartwool was owned by Timberland!
Wavedancer - Ibex www.ibexwear.com makes 2 different sports-tops/camisoles with shelf bras. If you don't see what you want on the website, call them and ask. They keep stuff back for the next season. (even colors of t-shirts, like i wanted a black Q-T and it wasn't on the web, but they still had it)
Ibex has FREE SHIPPING until Dec 24.
interesting article. it didn't explain very well why smart wool was "smart"
they said it was "treated" how?
Got my large Smartwool 3/4 sleeve shirt from Steep and Cheap today. I probably would've been ok with a medium, but I'm barely over the idea that I don't need XL!
Tried it on with my CW-X under it. Oopsy, don't wear a black bra under a cayenne wool shirt! Fabric is too thin, say "HI" to the girls!
Fun shirt, though. (with the right foundation garment! :D )
Here's a problem that maybe you woolweenies can solve for me. I was biking home today in the dark wearing wool knee warmers, and the wool kept sticking to the velcro straps around my top tube that were holding on my headlight battery. I suppose my knock knees (from the dreaded W sit) have something to do with the problem. Good thing it was about 50 degrees, so I could stop and take off the knee warmers. Maybe I better stick to lycra knee warmers on after-dark rides.
Deb - can you wrap over the closed velcro with electrical tape?
side note: y'all know the etymology of the word "velcro"?
