the most amazing thing happened yesterday, our younger son (who teaches and studies for his PhD in Canada) appeared and said he'd stay the week! It's just what older son and I needed, someone to help out. And Donald is so happy.. ah, so am I!!!

After lunch will get on the trainer and stream Battlestar Galactica to my tv - finally getting around to watching the new version of that, I refused to watch the remake when it was on the air. Watched the pilot on Netflix last night and got hooked, much to my surprise!

I did get out earlier today. 25 miles. It wasn't too bad most of the time, but I did find myself needed a higher gear than normal to feel stable. Now my knee is mad at me. :rolleyes: There were a couple of times when I felt my bike shimmy under me, and then I was really glad that it's not a high-end feather-light bike. :DQuote:
