Only, I didn't get out for a ride this weekend, because Wednesday, 50 miles into a 60 mile ride, I was passing a family on the cherry creek path near REI, and the kid with them went into my lane, right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, and went right over my handlebars, landing face first on the path. I broke my scapula, chipped my front tooth, and got serious road rash and facial contusions.
My bike is ok though! And I got a front seat view of the insanity that is Denver Health's trauma center. 7+ cops there that night, each with their own prisoner/patient. Scary.
