Oh, DB.....I'm so sorry to hear about Bailey. :(
I will light a candle for Bailey tonight. Cassie and Remy are there to meet him at the 'bridge with tail wiggles and kisses.
You did so right for all three. I know you feel badly, and I know, too, that it will get better in time. Bailey knows he had it good with you and loved you every day. You are a wonderful mom to your fur-kids.
{{{{Hugs to you}}}}
Divingbiker, it does get better with time. I lost my beautiful Ana 5 years ago and at times the tears flow. She taught me so much about life and living. I choose to remember her in the better moments we shared in the 14 years we had together.
Furryblue, that is the cutest little corgi! Ben's expression in the trailer--LOL!
Here're a few pictures of my abused...err.. I mean spoilt rotten pets
First one is of the current crew all together... then a couple of Spanky-puppy pix. He was a special one. No one wanted him because he was imperfect (he had an overbite that would probably require dental work). I took him in as a foster...and low-n-behold...he has never left! We LUV him to pieces!
BBNTulsa, your cockers are gorgeous! Your videos made me laugh yesterday, and I needed it.
I'll be adopting another cocker from the cocker rescue group soon, probably another older one that Ruby liked when she was in her foster home.
Thanks for the good thoughts everyone. Today is a better day.
Darn...lost my reply (stupid storm here!!)
I'm glad the videos helped a little. :) By the way, here's another video that always makes me smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDGugkF4zks
Bless you for adopting the older babies! I don't understand how people abandon, abuse, or give up their pets after years. You're an angel to them all.
(((((((DB)))))))
Here my contractor takes a kitten break. Much healthier than a cigarette break, dontcha think? This is one of 3 kittens she rescued from a neighbors yard. She'll get the Mom fixed and find homes for them, and of course get them fixed.
And looking at the kitten is my mutt, Mae. Just before the photo was taken she'd been licking the kittens ears and eyes. She likes kittens!!
Or at least this one
Another photo of kitten and yes, that's a coffee cup for scale :D
Kitten already claimed a name.
I think kitten is gonna end up living with us...
:D
Named "Hoodie", yep, named the cat. I think this one's mine if my Mom does not take him/her.
(((Diving Biker))) So sorry about your Bailey. How awful it's been for you lately. It's so hard when you have a lot of them in their senior years. Hang in there -- you will find a new one that needs you just as badly and will help you heal.
As for the rest of you -- OMG: Too much cuteness! Ben could steal my heart in an instant, and those kittens, well, if I had a farm, I'd have SO many of them! Good thing I have DH to keep me in line! Oh, and that rental contract thingy!:D
Not the head so much but look at the size of those ears  and such a worried look. :p That photo is taken by Spazzdog (who lurks here and is a fabulous photographer).
