OK, so the interview was scary. I was essentially told that the company was only 21 months old, and they'd fired both their administrators in this time period. If hired, I'd be in charge of basically the whole show- as in everything would be on *my* shoulders. No medical/dental/vision benefits yet, but they were excited to be adding medical in 3 months.
unorthodox 30 second interviews- not what I was prepared for, but I did my best, and we shall see.
Kitsune, sounds like the interview went well. Are you READY to bear that whole company on your shoulders?
Enza, my tortie. She is a former feral when we caught her she was half starved, so as a kitten she used to eat like there was no tomorrow. So we taught her to "work" for her food, and she learned several tricks. When we were tired of the tricks, standard people training tricks...she would figure out new things like getting in a bag, on a chair, on a ledge.. she learned that if she laid on the floor and put her feet on the wall, that would make treats appear. She also will give kisses for treats. She is very quiet and just a little shy. She is one of the most endearing cats we have ever had. Is it because she's a tortie or is it because she was absolutely wild until she was 3 months old and we caught her in a trap? I don't know.
She'll sleep practically on top of me all night but will not sit on my lap (unless there is a treat involved) and yes, she's my cat in the Avatar..
