rode 19.5 miles with 2 friends, one who is struggling with speed/aging/health issues, so it was slow. At mile 15, we had coffee and I had a skinny slice of one of the guy's spiced muffin

D: glass of rosé, scrod, baked with panko and various spices, whole wheat cous cous, roasted asparagus

I went out so much during the holiday weekend, I am going to skip recording! I did ride 2 40 mile rides and did two 4 mile hikes.
Labor Day:
B: 2 scrambled eggs, lox, slice of spelt whole wheat toast, a peach, coffee
S: ate another piee of spelt raisin bread and cashew butter before a 40 mile ride with 2,100 ft of climbing. Also had one Shot Block, half a Lara Bar, and a bottle of Skratch, half a bottle of water
L: one and a half slices of mushroom pizza, one beer
S: whole wheat pita rounds and Machengo cheese
D:grilled swordfish, fingerling potatoes, waxed beans. split some tomato and mozarrella salad with DH

D: had a little pot luck dinner with 2 friends. I brought a quinoa/kale/chick pea/blueberry salad, also had some caprese salad, a chicken sausage, melon, and a slice of frozen yogurt pie

D: we had our first theatre subscription play and went out to a wonderful tapas restaurant that's owned by the family of one of my former students. I had a cup of cucumber gazpacho, and shared 3 tapas with DH, had 2 glasses of sangria, and shared a dessert. mmmmmm

Today (KB training day)
B: eggs, veggies, very small amount of sprouted red rice, coffee with cream
KB training as usual, but both me and my training/competition partner had to call an end to our second set due to accumulated fatigue from a very hard training week, our coach moved the focus to practicing form and breathing techniques. Followed by protein shake
L: Planning on a salad with mixed veggies, roast chicken, and fermented veggies
D: Roasted chicken, zucchini and baby greens, all scrambled with the two egg whites left over from my walnut-garlic-mayo making :-) Blueberries + yogurt for a late dessert/snack

D: Church picnic, had a brat (no bun), bit of potato salad and veggie sticks.
S: dinner was way early for me, so had a protein shake early evening.
Rest day today, still in recovery mode.
