So sorry to hear this. I know Brodie helped you get through after your accident last fall.
invsblwmn, I am so very sorry to hear about your beloved Brodie. :(
My heart goes out to you and words provide inadequate comfort during a time like this.
Brodie's angel will bring her down to visit you. This is from a votive candle I got after I lost my sweet Golden Retriever, Agnes, last May: "grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you... I loved you so - 'twas Heaven here with you"

All the TE fur friends will be at the Rainbow Bridge to welcome Brodie.
Hi all,
here is my best friend :)
as you can guess from the happy face... he loves a vacation day!
This thread has so much emotion... joy and happiness for new pets and best friends, and then the next entry so much sadness. You are in my thoughts, Invsblwmn... it is just heartbreaking to lose a pet friend. Obviously you gave Brodie a long, love-filled life. That is what they are for, and for all the love and happiness they give back (who could deny the happiness in TxDoc's photos?! ).
Invsblwmn.. I hope you get to where you can remember Brodie in those happier days.
Here's one of the happy posts....Paisley at 12 weeks:

She's such a sweetie pie! :p

There we go -- feeling better already! Thanks, Emily! Paisly is gorgeous! Here's one of my girl, Mac, a couple years ago. Her goofiness always makes me smile.
OMG, Paisley just broke the cute-o-meter!!! Look at that sweet little puppy face!!! Too much cuteness!!!
Scrolling thru this thread, I have to say that Sundial's Kali Jo has the best ears of all the canines!!
Thanks! The only thing is that she looks so sad :( even when she's happy :o. My mom calls it the Boston Terrier's "perpetually worried look".
She was quite the hit yesterday -- we took her to the early voting polling place. DH had already voted during the week, so he walked her around on the leash while I stood in line and voted (about 30 mins total). She got to meet lots of children, an elderly man who did the curbside voting, and the folks handing out brochures all thought she was a doll. She gave out many kisses and garnered lots of attention, so we decided that she is a natural politician! :D

Paisley is so very cute!! She looks like a total sweetheart. :)
