Don't get me wrong--drying racks don't get a 'dedicated space' in our 1000 sq ft of paradise! They only come out when they have work to do; the rest of the time they are folded and hanging high on the wall!

I don't have room to dry anything flat if it is too big to go on top of the rack.

That 'too wet to hang' problem went away when we got a Miele washer with a spin cycle that really spins much more of the water out than the cheepie washer that came in this condo.

As for putting a wash friendly jersey in the washer in a cold cycle, it should be fine. It is probably good to keep the zipper zipped in the wash so it is only one weapon rather than two. I also go a little overboard with laundry (lingerie) bags for lots of our wool items so that the base layers don't get as beaten up, but it is probably not necessary.

OMG - her stuff is adorable! I'm flipping through it and drooling on my keyboard. I particularly love the coats! I have no idea what the materials are as I can't read any of the text, but wow...gorgeous. Too bad most if it is out of my price range considering that I spend most of my time on a farm. :o The next time I need a winter coat, I'm splurging on one of hers though....

And redrhodie - definitely lets us know how those kickers turn out. I assume they are chamois free? If so, I'm VERY interested myself (for biking AND running).

As it turns out, the shorts I traded with Red for are just a little too large for me, or my body doesn't like the padding material - or both - but sadly I cannot wear them. However, if there is someone else who wanted to try them out let me know! I would be open to trading for something else wool, but it isn't absolutely necessary. The Ibex shorts are size medium.

Sorry those didn't work out for you. Like any shorts (or saddles), they either work for you or not. They were highly reviewed on Ibex and a lot of people loved them, so hopefully they will find a good home.

I love the jersey, btw. I can't wait until it's warm enough for short sleeves!
