I had a really not so good week of eating two weeks ago, but got it back on track this week food-wise this week. It was hot/gross this week, but I managed commutes x5 (110 mi) plus a 2 mile run last weekend so hopefully I can keep that up and stay on track....
158.7
Only .3 of a pound, but we were on vacation last week, so I'll take any loss as a victory. We hiked the highpoint in CO (Mt. Elbert) and did LOTS of mtn biking, so I guess that cancelled out all the crap I ate that I normally don't. ;)
Is it too late to join in? I need some partners in weight loss, since I hit my 40's it's like my metabolism hit a wall and the wall hit back!
I'm at 138 as of 10 minutes ago. I'm going to try to curb my summer food plan which is no particular plan. (I camp and eat and drink and while I'm quite merry, I am beginning to resemble Mrs. Santa-not a good thing!!)
My new motto is "Chips will NOT make me happy":o
oopsie- 159.1
I only swam 3 times this week and ate like crap. This heat wave needs to subside so I can get my butt back outside again. ;)
126.5 :)
142.0. Water retention.
135.2....water retention here as well. Today is a rest day but I've worked out a LOT this week.

Hi all! I thought I would sit out this challenge, but looks like that's not a very good idea for me, I'd best join back in.
Posse, here are my WW weigh-ins for this time period:
July 13: 144.2 <-- you can set that as my start weight
Aug 3: 146.4
Goal for this challenge: 145
Thanks!
Heh, I've been dinking around for only a couple of months, and the weight is creeping up already. I'm starting to track WW points again too. I'd like to nip this gain in the bud before it takes on a life of its own. :p
147 for me this week.
I'll be late weighing in next week (like Monday late) because I'll be kayaking all weekend.
134 this morning, that is more like it :)
142.8
-- gnat! (finally!)
Hopefully I'm getting caught up with everyone. Let me know if I missed anything. And it is never too late for anyone to join! :)

Got myself weighed late this week as I was traveling Friday and Saturday. 105.6 is the number. Still would like to be down a bit, but it is OK.
My weight for last week was 142.6. I had another week with extreme water retention (swollen, heavy legs) and was hoping it would be gone by now, but it's not, though it has eased up a bit. Either there's a confluence of factors causing this (hormones + long ride on a hot humid day + a few high-sodium meals) or there's something wrong with me. Hoping it's the former...
132.8 :)
127 this morning.
132.1
slow & steady progress
Friday the 17th and up to 107. On a trip and a different scale. Not happy.
Haven't really been participating but am in a fitness challenge with 3 other friends. Intense 30 minute workouts, 3 x's a week plus my regular biking and hiking.
at end of week 3 I am down 4.2 pounds but more important - I have dropped 4% of body fat!!! 3 more weeks to go, hoping for at least 8 pounds and to lose 6% of body fat
144.6.
-- gnat! (but it was 143 yesterday! wtf!)
I didn't weigh in after my kayak trip last week mostly because I forgot until it was already the middle of the week. On Sunday night when I got home though, I was up 5 whole pounds!!
It's gone now though. 147 again.
I am glad to hear that other people have such huge weight fluctuations. I seem to 'gain' and 'lose' the same 4 pounds every week - sometimes 5 or 6! Yesterday I was 2.5 pounds heavier than I was this morning. I can really feel it in my clothes and how my body feels, too. So frustrating!
I can predict it sometimes, like sushi = 2 lbs up, even if I drink a TON of water with it. Food salt seems to cause a weight spike, but a huge workout doesn't, so I must hydrate well enough when I ride, but who knows? So weird.
Sushi definitely has that effect on my weight. I don't eat it much anymore because I'm very wary of grocery store sushi, and the only real sushi restaurants require a special trip because they are on the other side of town. I do like some good sushi, however.
My weight typically fluctuates by a pound or two at most during the week; it's pretty consistent since I bought a new digital scale. I've been making steady progress in the downward direction for the last five or six months. Nothing drastic, and slower than I would have liked, but noticeable nonetheless. I'll take it.
133.2 this morning.
In the first week of my Paleo experiment I lost almost 3 pounds - probably just water loss from not consuming grains. I've regained .5 lb of that but since then my day-to-day weight has been rock solid stable. Exact same weight for 6 days in a row, no large fluctuations the morning after a heavy workout or good ride. I like that change, it was frustrating to see such large swings when I knew it was 99% likely that it was simply water retention. I ascribed it to the exercise though, not my diet. This seems to show that it was diet related. In the 3 years since I started tracking diet and weight I've not seen it be so stable over even the course of one week.
126.5. I'm on travel next week, so we'll see what happens then.
149.0 Under 150 for the first time in many, many years.
Still fairly steady at 143.2
-- gnat!
107 today. Still two pounds over where I want to be and still trending up. I can watch it happen, why do I stall doing anything about it?
Carefully counting my too many calories. Going out with friends with dreaded pizza tonight. I'll be over again.
I've been steady at 143 for awhile. And annoyed. There have only been a few days when I really overate. So I guess it's a portion issue. Also I'm having to eat breakfast earlier due to a schedule change at work, which has me eating lunch earlier, but dinner is still later (after gym/bike ride) so I'm probably snacking too much in the early evening.
Anyway, excuses excuses.
Caught up, I think. :)
I had lost a few pounds the week that I biked to/from work a few days. I was so psyched thinking that maybe if I can keep up that riding I can start to make a dent in the weight. Then my crash. And what is likely some depression eating. UGH. A friend took my stitches out today and said the wound is healing very nicely. I think I'll go do some test riding on Sunday. I have a tri relay in a couple weeks and while it is relatively flat, so I could ride my Kona (not like I'm very fast on my road bike), I would kind of like to have a road bike to do my leg. So better get test riding. :)

I've been slacking on weighing/reporting, but I'm back...

If I have a good week, my goal is within reach....I got back to my bad sugar habits, but I've been good the past three days so I'll see if I can keep it up.
