Sort of like an olive relish. Mine has finely chopped black and green olives, capers, roasted mushrooms, garlic, some vinegar and dijon mustard and whatever herbs I have around.

Grilled Cheese...I lived on these as a kid :) and still love them just as much today.

but another "comfort sandwich" I love is fried bologna. basically you fry the bologna (just throw it on the pan) and put it on bread that has mayo and a bit of mustard.
There's a deli near where I work that makes a "California Tuna Sandwich." Tuna salad, swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado and sprouts on your choice of bread. I like it on a spinach wrap, hold the sprouts. I get it for lunch at least once a week.
Crunchy peanut butter and either black raspberry or strawberry jelly--late night snacking at its finest.
Roast beef, a nice cheddar, lettuce, red onion, and horseradish. Add a strip of bacon if I'm feeling indulgent.
Grilled cheese.
