Actually, Triskeliongirl, my youngest did graduate from college, got her first job, and bought a house a few months before I decided to order the bike. They have all left the nest and are on their own. This is my gift to myself.Quote:

Well she arrived yesterday and I took her out early today for her maiden voyage--a quick 5 mile loop to be sure everything was secure--then DH and I took a 14 mile ride. She is absolutely awesome! I had no neck, shoulder or wrist aches and she rides as smooth as silk. I have been riding carbon for 5 years so I purposely took her on roads that I knew were rough on my carbon bike and my goodness what a difference in the ride and the feel. She's the sweetest thing ever. I feel like I am in control of the bike instead of the other way around---well, you can hardly feel the bike at all.
Oh, and I have always had problems making a tight turn and thought it was my bike handling skills. The rest of the group could reverse direction in the middle of the road and I always had to stop and walk it around. It wasn't me at all--it was the bike. I can turn the Luna around on a dime. Amazing!
