Count me in again too. I had a week of rest, which wasn't good for the weight but was good for the muscles. Back to training now and starting at 214.2. Goal for the challenge is 205 (I thought 200 would be a little optimistic).
Hi everyone! I've never posted before, I've been registered for a few months. I really enjoy the support and enthusiasm you all show each other. I am a newbie, over 50 rider and haven't been able to ride much yet. I am recovering from a car accident(fractured T4 vertebrae and accident induced scoliosis of the spine). I would like to weigh in this month. It has been hard to watch what I eat with all the required rest. I'm not active right now and I have gained a few pounds from all the sitting. I weigh 149.2 and would like to get down to 144 by the end of April. Thank you for having this to participate in.:)
Possegal,
Please include me. This morning I was 152lbs and I still have the goal of 149lbs.
Thank you for the charts!
Thanks for the welcome. I'm having a hard time getting my cycling in... I started last summer with my daughter's bike and I thought this is fun. Bought a bike on Craig's list that came with clipless shoes. I promptly had my first accident falling over and not getting unclipped. Sprained my forearm so had to take a few weeks off from cycling; by then winter had set in. Bought an indoor trainer, used it a few times; then I got rear ended. My jeep's in the shop getting repaired and I'm in a rental and I get rear ended again! This time I end up in the hospital with the fractured back. So I don't know when I'll be allowed to ride. I drive a rural delivery route for the post office. I have to sit around a lot while my back heals. I've enjoyed reading this site. Thanks everyone!

I would like to join you guys....Im a little nervous comitting to this. My weight seems to stay the same NO matter what I eat, how much I ride, blah blah...
I'm a little older 44 and have 3 kids...my bf% is around 20% which is good for my age but I really need to lose about 10 pounds. I have tried to lose these pounds for about 3 years...and only manage to go u and down 5 pounds. Some might think it is where I should be but who knows...lol....
Can I join in? 158 right now, goal for end of April: 153.
Never too late for folks to join in! :)

Weighed in this morning at 211.6 so I thought I'd better report it quick before the scales decides that was not correct and gives me a higher weight!
183.2 this morning. I'll take it.
155.4 today (goal is 155!). Happy to be steady since I feel kindof bloated!
165 this am
232 on the dot! Woo hoo! Eating a couple hundred calories every few hours seems to really work for me. I've also revamped my kitchen by getting rid of all the processed junk and eating mostly whole, natural foods. DH and I have also decided to go vegetarian a few days a week (good for us and good for the planet :D) with the hopes of eventually being full time vegetarians. This is a big step for DH who was raised on meat and potatoes!
Wow, Sammy, that's a big commitment.
155 for me this morning.
Yep, and that's why we are doing it gradually. I've made 5 vegetarian dinners in the last 2 weeks and DH didn't even realize it  When I mentioned it to him last night, his exact words were, "Wow! It's that easy? I noticed my pants were fitting a little looser." Men are so oblivious sometimes, LOL.
114.2 this morning :-)
It really helps to know you are all out there. Reporting every week adds an extra level of reinforcement.
I have gone more and more toward eating smaller snacks and meals through the day. Also, starting cycling in the summer made me think much more about the kinds of snacks I was eating. Even on non-ride days I'm hungrier, so I have added in a morning snack of fruit, a handful of almonds or something else to keep me going. I can eat more- but not a lot more- and still lose weight, writing everything down is key for me.
I hope everyone has a successful week.
226 for me this morning.
Tucker Cat lost an ounce. He's at 15.44 pounds now.
Veronica
Go, Tucker kitty! :D
174 (173.6, but I'm rounding up).
Did you want me to change your goal from 150 to 155? Just checking.

First week of counting calories and purposely eating in a deficit and the scale goes up by a half a pound. Nice. Not.
Whatever - I'll keep keepin' on....
169.0
Just weighing in at 147
: )
164.8 this morning. Small bump down. :)
It doesn't seem like a milestone, but it's the weight that the BMI calculator has as the highest weight in the healthy weight range for my height. So I am officially (though it seems silly and one pound is an arbitrary difference) in the healthy weight range and no longer "overweight." But I have a ways to go before I am in MY normal weight range.
I thought I was watching the amount I was eating but the scale said I did nothing different. Stayed the same 149.2. Doc says I'm not allowed to do any exercises other than walking, so I guess I better walk a little farther:o
I'm down 2 pounds to 183.
164.6 that is 40 total pounds lost for me and I am really happy.
Still at 155, I will keep trying.
I weighed in at 134.5!
147.6 today.
No change for me this week. But, on a positive note...I have ridden 102 miles this week. It feels good to get back out on the road instead of a trainer.
229...argh.
In my defense, I've been off all training for two weeks due to a minor car accident which resulted in whiplash and soreness/stiffness. My GP and my chiropractor concurred with me resting my neck for a bit or I could turn a minor injury into a major injury, so I've been out of the pool and off the bike for two weeks.
Until yesterday. I swam 11 laps, but it took me 25 minutes (550 yds), and my neck was tight afterward. So it looks like a few more days off for me.
Roxy
184 as of Friday. 1 lb down, booo.
Please put me down for 145. :)
Thanks,
Lynette
friday my scale said 140.3, saturday it said 142.4.
that cant be right, so i'll stay with my start weight of 142 and try to find a better scale.
I forgot to add - this past Friday 151lbs.
Thank you,
Martina
I have an early weigh in as I am heading on vacation. Continue to hang in at 155.
