Way to go divingbiker! Now enjoy your recovery. :)
Congratulations on your half, db!!!!:)
Congrats Divingbiker!
I am a little late posting.
I missed my Weds. 6 mile "hill" run. We had very bad news at work. My boss was "fired". Although they dont' say that. It is a devastating mess. I just couldn't run (should of, but didn't).
So Friday I took a personal day. To help make up my total mileage I did 7 miles. I also wanted to tackle this milage again, since last weekend I didn't have a good 7 mile run. I felt much better and although I did no have my Garmin for exact mileage or pace...I did it in 1 hour 15 min. That is MUCH faster than last time.
Sat. I did my regualre 5-miler. Overall felt good. Tried to keep it easy and on the slower side. Stood in my pool to "ice" my legs afterwards. Not that my pool is ice cold...but in the 70's. Felt good (but cold!)
Now on to this weeks postings!
K
I was hoping to catch Divingbiker at the finish line (by spectating, not by running past her) but she was so darned fast that I missed her finish even though I timed it just right! Good job DB! Sorry I couldn't find a closer parking place. I hope your knee is better. It was great to have you visit.
Congrats! I love that distance, and clearly by your performance, your body likes it too :-) GREAT WORK!
