They do take the camera offline periodically, and sometimes I find i need to hit reload to get the feed to run.

They're back!:)
They've added a counter on the bottom of the screen. At one point this afternoon, over 23,000 people were watching. It's 1am, and I'm watching. I have problems.
I love how one moment they're raising a ruckus and in the blink of an eye they're cuddled together and snoozing.
Ooops, spoke too soon.
The puppy-cam has gone viral. It was on the Today show this morning.
I'm surprised there aren't more puppy-cams. I'd watch all the time.
Karen
The resolution doesn't look as good as it used to -- do you think they've changed it?
i'm addicted!!!! i just saw the puppies be taken out of their den. the door is along the back side (compared to the camera). I could hear human voices playing with the puppies!!! I want one!!!
they just opened up the top and put up a big play pen for them!!!!
The pen is always there, Polly. It's just not that noticeable when the cover of their box is on.
They sure love their human. :)
They have a new bed!!!
Their human came and sat with them for a while this morning. They were so, so cute, gnawing on his toe. Very special pups.
Oi! They're doing re-runs  I'm home sick, bored silly, and clicked on it for the second time today - and saw the exact same thing happen as when I clicked a half-hour ago.
But they were real cute anyway :)
I saw one of them throw up, and all the others rush in to investigate, and after that, the crate they were in changed, and since then I either get a slideshow or them sleeping.
I don't know how often puppies throw up, but maybe they are sick and that's why the re-runs.
Karen
Right now their human is trying to clean up something in the playpen, with all the puppies hanging on to her pants legs with their teeth.
It's on the Pop Chart of this week's Time Magazine, too (under "shockingly predictable"!)
Is that number at the bottom telling us how many are watching at any one time? I see 21000+. Good grief...that's a lot of folks bored at work.
I've never seen a momma dog, either. Anyone?
Human had skull and crossbones p.j.'s today. Freaky, that we know absolutely NOTHING about life beyond the camera lens for these critters....
I saw the mom once. She came in for a really short feeding, early last week.
They have introduced a crate to the puppies. They seem to be ignoring it...
Oops, human appeared and put some of them in the crate. They've got this WTF? look on their faces.
nap time.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
OH No! Its a jail break-out! The screen is black. I'm sure one of the puppies covered the camera and they are making a break for it.
:D
It's gone black on my computer too, but a couple of evenings ago, their human "dad" brought in a cat and told the puppies to be good or he would take her out. He gave various instructions about not biting her tail, etc., and held the cat on his lap while the puppies investigated. Finally, the cat jumped out of his lap and wandered around the enclosure, seemingly oblivious to the puppies even though they were all over her - very tolerant cat who is obviously used to puppies. She was a black cat who looked just like my cat, Missy. Now my kitties (and their "mom") want a puppy!!
Ohhh I got to see them get new toys! They were so excited!
OMG, it's been so long since I've had a puppy in the house. They are absolutely adorable!
A few days ago the humans introduced a wire crate into the enclosure - oh dear puppies, your sweet puppyhood is coming to an end. Now today I am getting the "off air" message....could it be that the puppies are being sold and taken away? : - (. I have read that the "Ustream" service that the Puppycam is on is going to send a puppycam with Ustream service into the homes with each puppy, as they have had great publicity with this.) I am going to miss the Puppycam. I watch them every day and night. I hope we get another week or two of puppies. Tokie
Wow... that's pretty cool!
Question, though. I just started to watch this tonight. How often is pic "updated"... I seem to have a still pic which has only changed a couple of times in last 5 minutes. Is this supposed to be a live "video"?
Man -- they are cute! They look pretty big -- anyone know their age at this point?
I love that the middle of the pic now is PUPPY BUTT! :D
Ummm... NEVER MIND. Turns out they were actually sleeping in that position!
Butt up in the air and head over the edge of the bed, as if he was leaving the bed, and then changed his mind and just went back to sleep! (I think I've done that! :p)
It is LIVE -- as live as they get at the moment!
OMG... something set them off and now they're ALL howling at the top of their lungs. how funny.
Puppies now have a doggie door to the outside -- they are getting so big!
LOVE puppycam. Most relaxing thing. Maybe ever.
Its scary when they bark!
Heard on NPR this morning that the puppies will go to their new homes in a week. So you only have one more week to watch this group.
And I think they also said there'll be another litter to watch. :)
<RANT> arg! No more puppies! There are enough out there already! </RANT>
They made NPR! Awesome. Celebrity pups!
I hope they haven't bred the same b itch over again
Watched pups briefly, different humans in with them this afternoon (perhaps their future human familys?). One woman was trimming their little toenails! I will miss these little guys! Tokie
Ok, so they were all just yippng and fighting in a little pile. Then the human mom said "eh eh, careful" and they all immediately rolled onto their stomachs and looked at here. And now they are just ignoring each other. Obviously this human mom is really really on top of things! Amaaaaazing.
Here's the link to the NPR bit this morning on the dogs.

Hmmmm...It seems that the human just took out the big foam and fleece dog bed. so now all 6 puppies are "dog-piled" and trying to sleep in the wire kennel. I wonder when their new families will take them away? Tokie
I think that was just for cleaning purposes.
Notice all the pee-pee pads are gone.
I think the first pups are going to their new homes this weekend. 8 weeks is about right, my first corgi came home at 8 weeks, Chloe came home at 12 weeks.
Note posted on the ustream.tv website
The dreaded warning... this coming weekend (Dec 6-7th) will be when the first couple of pups will be heading off to their new homes. Yes, it has been and will continue to be really hard for us to let each pup go but we're confident that they are going to extremely loving and caring homes.
We'll be arranging at keast a yearly meet-up (if not more) with the pups that will be going to homes in California. We'll have to post a link to where everyone can go to get updates, progress and pictures on the litter as they grow.
