Yep, it does seem to be down right now.
I noted last night TE is back up in 5th place.

I think we broke it yesterday. There were some pretty nasty characters (well one really) turning an interesting discussion into a political target practice. SK and I got righteously offended and mods stepped in and now we can't get there. I think maybe they took it off line for a bit.
That's what happens when you don't have women running the forum. ;)
Hi, I just joined bikejournal today. I can't believe I have ridden over two hundred total miles since April, pretty impressive for me.
Yipeee, got my miles logged in BikeJ. It's up and running again. Now if only I could go outside and play. Alas, it's raining.
Where did we go in the standings? We have disappeared. At 96,526 miles Team Estrogen should be ranked #4, but we are nowhere to be found. Hmmmm...it must be a conspiracy...
I see us in 5th with 109,615 miles.
Curiouser and curiouser. I hit refresh and this is still what I see:
1 Space City Cycling Club Houston, TX 137 196,940
2 Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club Tempe, AZ 146 149,472
3 So Cal BikeForums CA 128 101,831
4 Club Hypoxia Front Range, CO 99 85,661
5 Corinth Cycling Club Corinth, TX 123 84,507
Weird. I see us in 6th with 96,566.
whether or not you count indoor miles changes the numbers.
I just added 29 miles and some change. Tomorrow I'm going for a long ride again. I'm tryin'. :)
sheesh, in the state of Washington, i'm #4!!
Time to do a quadruple century. ;) :D
I'm kind of new of the forum, but went over to Bike Journal today and did an entry for my mileage YTD for TE.
I joined the site (Bikejournal) sometime ago, but I forgot about it! until today...
So I hope it is ok that I just "joined" the team without asking  It will be a good motivator for me, I've been a little slack this year so far....
I just joined without asking too - earlier this year - New Year's Resolutions & all:)

No permission necessary. Glad to have you on board.
We're in 5th again! Go TE :)
I need to go add a few. This summer has been brutually hot, I haven't been on the bike as often as I would like. :(
Never fear. I'm just SURE that logging my 5 miles a day will rocket us into first place forever.
Pardes, don't be so down on your commute! It's amazing how that three mile commute was adding up for me over the winter ;)
Nope, I'm not down on myself. Every day that I'm on the bike, I'm so glad to be alive and so glad to be biking.
With panniers loaded to the hilt last night with new windbreakers, jackets and coats for biking in rain/fall winter, I was thinking about how radically one can change their life by the simple act of crawling up on a bike. Amazing. And to think a month ago I was wondering what on earth to do for fun......
..... and now you've discovered what we all knew .... shopping for bike gear! :D :) ;)
Speaking of bikejournal, I won! A Vetta RT288L wireless computer on bikejournal. You know that contest in the upper righthand side of the page? They actually give stuff away.
My roadbike has a computer so I'll install this on the commute mobile.
I finally logged my miles on BikeJournal - 774 miles for the year so far!
I registered and logged my miles as far back as I was keeping track.
667 miles from mid June to today :)
Cool site!
Holy cow...I know I've been slacking, but...
I just checked my bikejournal account and I've got a big whopping zero for the year! Have I really failed to log a single ride over there this year? I guess so!
Hmmm...maybe I can do an estimate based on how long my commute is and how much we've ridden since we moved here? Ugh...what a pain! Maybe I'll just start with August and go forward. That gives me much less of a headache. ;)
I just signed on and added my hours so far. Just started riding in June and have logged 298 miles.
Hadn't logged for a while, so went in and added my miles last night... June, July and August...
:)
I keep forgetting.
Thanks for the reminder. We are now in the top 5 clubs!! I think estimates are find for folks that haven't been logging all along. You can enter one number using the bulk mileage entry, and then start logging individual rides from here on out.
I went in and found the site very confusing for trying to add my rides on the maps--I like mapmyride.com much better. But anyway, I did go in and join the TE team and add my total miles for YTD of 1087 miles to our total.
WooHoo!!! I'm in the top 20 and I still have some more miles I need to log!
I did it!!! I finally checked out bikejournal.com and logged all my rides from this year ... or at least 95% of them since my bike computer broke in February, borrowed hubbies for a while for "most" rides, got mine replaced, then had it stolen when our house was broken into, ... BLEH!!!! What a mess! Anyways, I've been going to check out that site and I'm glad I finally did. How fun it is to see my totals. Over 1,000 for this year so far! :D
I'm also glad someone asked if you can list more than one club affiliation and that someone else explained how to do that.
Thanks ladies! ;)
I have been logging mine but not nearly as many miles as last year. Priorities have shifted, I am starting to run after work and mountain bike (few miles but not 30 at a time). PLus I am not doing a bunch of centuries this year, so I am not riding my legs off. Still I have contributed 1,700+ and probably will add some more this week since I can commute home.
