Mimi, you're new bike is spectacular. I love the complimenting colour of the fenders. Very, very nicely done.
I am just drooling at ALL of these beautiful bikes. Skyhand, are you a professional photographer? WOW!!
Thanks! Can't call myself a professional photographer. I'll shoot photos for clients maybe once a year, 'cause it's more of a hobby for me. :)
Hey Skyhand, welcome to TE! ANOTHER SEATTLE PERSON! YAY!
thanks, mimi! yeah seattle REALLY represents on this board!
Skyhand, what kind of camera do you use? (sorry for the hijack.)
I do plan to post a picture of my Brooks after Friday, thanks to a wonderful TE member! :D
What the others have said, skyhand - you really have a knack for taking gorgeous photos!
I'm going to try again with my bike next week, I think - get some shots of her with her pretty fenders. :D
Of course, now that I'm close to fenderdom, the rain stops. Go figure.
Sandra, what are you getting?
ohhhh i've gotta get fenders for my bike soon. let the rain come!! (just not 'til i have the fenders, mkay?) :D
My turn, my turn!:D Here's Emmy with her B72 and Brooks tape:

Cool, Sandra, that looks slick
and SGtiger; i recognize your Rodriguez. Put a brooks on it , even better!
The brooks tape is a little tricky to put on. It doesn't stretch like I'm used to bar tape doing.
It probably didn't help that I was trying to get it on fast so she'd be surprised when she came home from yoga.
The other problem is now I want some and that stuff is expensive!
And note the cute rug monkey in the background.
I did notice the cute kid. One of yours? :D
He's only mine when he's being a little twerp. He's SGTiger's the rest of the time.

here's another one; focusing on my saddle, well, then Enza came out and got into the photo.
Nice, Sandra! All that black and silver is very classy! Man...all of you B-67 folks are makin' me wonder if I shoulda gone all the way and gotten springs!
And SGTiger, BOY that Brooks bar tape looks nice! My LBS carries it. Hm...it's something to think about for someday, I guess! I really like the look!
Mimi...what's the bag behind your saddle? Is that new?
My bike is at the shop getting the fenders put on. *sniff* No bike commute tomorrow for me. But I'll have to get new pictures once the fenders are all set!
:D
I'm a bad mama. I didn't even notice DS when I was taking the picture. :o
Another great picture of your beautiful Davidson! Enza is a beauty, too. Her markings remind me of a cat that came with the house we rented when we lived in Corvallis. I miss having a cat. <sniff. sniff.>
Your parental peepers are not deceiving you.:)
Thank-you. Part of my B-day gift from DH last month.:D
I think Mimi got the Velo Orange croissant bag that DH and I have:
http://www.velo-orange.com/bapaandba.html
It's our "small" saddlebag for light use. :)
Ok girls, listen up. I WANT that Velo Orange croissant bag, but I am so vain, I'm wondering how that brown bag will look on my silver (with red and black trim) bike and black BROOKS!
So, what is there to consider that would go with mine? I have not bought seat bags or lights yet.
Sandra, you're no worse than me. That's right, i got that bag after I saw it on Lisa's bike.
At my bike shop they had a green canvas bag (expensive brand... name escapes me) and they tried to talk me into putting it on my bike. but it was GREEN!
there was NO WAY that was going on my bike!!!
so, WHAT did you have on your black bike?
oh, me? On my blue and yellow Bianchi I had a little tiny (inadequate) black canvas bag. It was only big enough for a spare tube, a multi tool, a plastic bag to protect the saddle in case of rain, rim tools & a latte lock. and every time i opened it everything fell out.
I forgot your bike was blue and yellow. I was thinking black.
That sounds like my little Trek seat bag now. I have about exactly the same thing in it, plus my cell phone, which hit the ground as soon as I unzipped it the last time we rode.

My B68 on my new Luna....

Well, Lisa, I still have YOUR Brooks! Wonder how many saddles have been ridden by more than 1 TE'er? It's on my new Surly. The fork hasn't been cut, still dialing in the fit, so a full pic when it doesn't have such a dork factor!:D
Here is my B-67 on my Nishiki mixte, all dressed up for a holiday ride in 2006 (and yes, the bike is wearing a feather boa as well):

I have a Team Pro on my Puch now but I haven't taken a photo yet.
this puts me off topic, but I also sold a Terry and a Specialized MTB saddle to TE gals. I wonder if they are still being ridden.
I guess I should take a picture of my husband's cannondale MTB with the Brooks Swift on it.
OK, that settles it: after I pay off my bike's moustache bar conversion, I am slappin' a B-67 on there! :D
my moustache bar conversion bike has a B67.... it's a beautiful thing.

my moldy old brooks... it's literally rotting off of my bicycle. good times. (it came with the frame and i haven't replaced it yet.)
My Brooks B68 was immediately comfortable -- I am in love with it.
(Yes, this is the 3rd time today I've posted a pic of my bike on TE -- I just got it back from the shop, slapped on the B68, and took it for a spin. I do believe it is the most awesome bike ever!!!)
Only day 2, but so far so good with no sore butt. Perhaps due to my natural built-in cushioning? :D
I did a bunch of stuff to my bike, and took some pics when I was done. Since I had the camera out anyway, I thought I'd grab some snaps of my Brooks Finesse while I was at it...then I revisited this thread and noticed that the pics of Lola and her Finesse aren't showing up now. (*sigh* and I can't remember from where I had linked them)
Anyway, here's my Lola and her Brooks Finesse...
Here's my honey B68 on my Rivendell Glorius
