I did the Perrysville ride too and it came out to 52 miles for us (I was in the same group as SueJ but didn't need to go back for water bottles). It was the longest ride I have done and the hills were a challenge for me on my hybrid, although Sue rode my bike for a while and did much better with it than I did. She's really strong.
The Moonglo burgers at the end were really fantastic!

I rode 41 miles by my lonesome, as usual. A wonderful day to put more miles in than my usual. There wasn't much wind or traffic!!!! Most the miles were on a new route, as the road had been closed to work on a interstate bridge. Of course there was no one working due to the holiday so I rode right through. I scared 5 buffalo and 2 calves that were way off in the field. Could they run! The coolest part about seeing them is that they ran in single file order. There was lots of longhorn cattle grazing and sleeping, but they didn't bat an eye. The buffalo ran single file again on my way back. Definitely a wild creature! My ave. speed was 13.85. My personal best.
