Hey, Cyndi! I just e-mailed you the time.
We need to raise a toast to Yellow for introducing a bunch of us to each other and this ride.
Oh yeah, is Bruce coming?

The Coach has said "no" to both the trailer and the book bag. :D

I will most definitely be with you in spirit.
If I can still move Sunday morning, I'll be sipping bad coffee at Ruby's in Bryce with HotRod himself. I'm suuuuure all of you will come up in conversation.
I'm off for a while. Leaving Thurs for Panguitch but prolly won't be logging in tomorrow since HotRod will be knocking at my door when I get home from work.
Have fun ladies (& gents)!
And the cheering begins! Go Yellow, Go Yellow.
All together now, ladies.
Amici Veloci, my Axe!
Goooo Yelllllooooow!!! We know you can do it!
So I will have to carry my own food and water?! At least I'll get to do it on my NEW bike. :)
Grammar question: Don't you think there should be a comma between "Veloci" and "my"? Amici Veloci, my axe - ??? Call Lynne Truss, I must know.
You happy? Yes, there should have been but I was typing fast before Miss Yellow ran off. You think she saw it?
I'm ecstatic. But I thought it said "axel" at first... need my glasses.
 It's 124 miles to Sly Park from our house! I think we're going to stay home and ride something a little closer.
Veronica - who has a wicked huge bruise on her right hip
Well, if you, Thom and Kim want to get cozy in the back seat, we can carry 5 bikes on the Bike Bus. It leaves the Davis Station at 6:40. Parties and naps during the commute can be accomodated.
Don't feel bad Kim, I thought the same thing when I set up my whatchamacallit line, which is why I put the space between the e and the "!"Quote:

Is comma underuse as bad as comma overuse?
Actually, I have no idea whether a comma is required or not, that's why I asked The Grammar Queen. I always say it with a pause after "Amici Veloci", so assumed a comma was appropriate.
I think apostrophe abuse is a much more serious offense than comma misuse... unfortunately I'm guilty of both, and more. My big problem is what punctuation goes inside of a quote vs. outside - the rule doesn't make any sense to me (so I ignore it).
Back to the ride, I will be bringing the Kuh-Nobby, since a 30x34 sounds lovely for a long climb.
