Not only am I addicted, but my DH is an enabler! I am going to see my family in North Dakota later this month and I was only going to stay for one week, but my husband said that if I leave a week early and help my son get to camp in Wisconsin that he would ship my bike and have it waiting for me upon my arrival. Pretty cool, now I will have nearly two weeks of riding with my brother and his family and I didn't have to beg for the bike myself. I shipped it last year and it wasn't cheap, didn't think he would agree to it again this year. Guess you gotta let them think it was their idea! :D
You know how drunks plan their next drink? I'm planning my next bike.
When most people retire, they plan their dream vacation. I'm vacillating between an Orbea and a custom bike....
It's a little over a year away, but it's my carrot at the end of a very long stick.
I slept with my copy of Park Tool's Big Blue Book last night. (yup, it was right there next to my pillow)
Does that mean I'm an addict?
Last night I realized I have no clean clothes, but I only had time to do one load of laundry.
I rode to work in clean bike clothes, and now I'm sitting at my desk in yesterday's pants and a slightly wrinkled shirt. :p
And why don't you have clean clothes?
Because you're RIDING when you could be doing laundry!!!!
Guilty as charged...
Well DUH!!! :rolleyes:Quote:
