I noticed some ads selling bikes bought from big box store's listed at higher prices than original purchase price. You really need to do your research. Yes, I ended up spending more money buying bran new but I got exactly what I wanted and best of all the bike just feels right. It feels like my bike (if that makes sense) And if I have any issues with the new bike, the LBS are happy to deal with them. So yea, I'm pretty happy with my new addition.
