Awesome! I was *this close* to going to a couple of my local shops to try one of these out when my frugal side took over again. They are so pretty. I prefer the bar end shifters...who knows, maybe I'll get one yet. I DO have a milestone birthday this year...Quote:

Also, go ahead and scrape the logos off your Surly if you're worried about theft. The head-badge too. You could get a hand made head-badge to replace it.
And always, carry a big lock. Something with a small-shackle as long-shackle gives more pry-bar room for thieves. I lock all my bikes (beater or not) with two locks. Yup. Over cautious, much? Maybe.
