Sadly, no, I didn't dress up. I wanted to put those bendable glo-sticks on my bike wheels and be from the movie "Tron" and pass out candy but no one comes out my way since we are on the edge of town.

Gnat-

Hilarious! Just fun, Trigril.Quote:
a recently discovered dinosaur: a bookasaurus (I'm a librarian).
As for you being the only teacher-librarian who dressed up...maybe because you're kinda wierd already....wearing a bike helmet everyday and cycling to work.
Gnat, those are great!
Ha, a friend of mine made me an animated gif...of my HORRID barrier work:

Friday was the last day of Red Ribbon (anti-drug) week at my school, and the day of the Halloween dance, so kids and teachers dressed up. I wore a simple medieval outfit from my (ahem) days in the Society for Creative Anachronism- green short tunic over a white underdress, with a white head cloth. The kids just didn't really "get it". I told them I was Eleanor of Aquitaine. I guess it wasn't quite elaborate enough. I didn't wear the costume on the bike, but I did ride my bike to work that day. Does that count? No dress up on Halloween though.
I did a 10 mile race on Saturday and dressed as a leopard. Unfortunately, it was so windy that my ears wouldn't stay on.
