Do you think it would be too cold the last weekend in October? Looks like that's the one that works for all who've responded.
It's hard to say ... I guess it's a roll of the dice. I'm good with whatever is decided. If we go I'll bring my warm clothes (most of which have been purchased from Cataboo). If we don't go then there's always next year.
Let's see what the consensus is.

I'd be up for that one, but I'd likely meet folks in the a.m. for a day trip. I wasn't sure when DC Cross was, but it's the weekend before.
I won't be going now. I've made other plans for that weekend.
I'd say let's try for next year.

I would like to ask a friend if she's available (but not on TE). If she is - and wants to try her hand at kayaking - I'd be unable to carpool, DB, as I'd be carrying two boats on the Escape. I'll let you know....

I'd like to ask a friend (a co-worker of mine) too. I'd drive from Sterling to Cedarville. 10:30 would work best for me. I may just do the Cedarville ride and skip the paddle.
My friend, Carrie, would like to join us. The drive will take me 1 hr. 15 min. I could arrive between 10 and 10:30, I'd shoot closer to the 10:00 hour. I've reconsidered and will do the paddle portion. I'm just waiting to hear from you both.
