By the way, catch and release is extremely stressful on fish - especially in areas that are heavily fished. Takes a fish 24 hrs to recover from being caught just once, and if they get caught again, then the stress hormones keep rising until they die. The lovely things one learns when working for a fish physiologist.
Also learned that trout are stupid, especially hatchery raised ones. I could chum in rainbows just by pretending I was throwing feed over a pond. Or by tossing some pebbles :rolleyes:
