Christening Pictures
We're back! Everyone survived, and I'm so happy I could lay an Egg! Bruno did wonderful! I'm such a proud mom! We got ourselves completely turned around, numerous time, got on some single track we had absolutly no business being on and I discovered pride really does go before the fall; ie I have no pride, I'll get off and walk before I fall! :D In fact, I've walked up and down more hills today than I have all season on the road bike!
We did find some of that "sweet" single track Dirt Girl kindly showed us last week. And I did manage to stay on the bike more than I was off it. I'm trying to ride "clipped" and I know I can, I have all season on the road bike, but I stress myself out with thoughts of stopping and not being able to unclip fast enough. And I had no problems, I just think I might. :o
Bruno got all dusty and dirty (we avoided the mud puddles) so he's a happy boy. I opted not to give him a bath when we got back, it is getting cold out, I gave him a good once over with compressed air.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let our pictures "tell the rest of the story" . . .
